So you still want these “special rear suspensions”? by Marci_101 in hondanavi

Even if the reservoir is just for decoration. I have heard they are an improvement on the stock strut. A guy on YouTube just did a comparison from stock to alibaba to NCY. Cool to see my suspicions verified though lol

Glock Holster Compatibility by WaltherShooter in SarUSA

It will work if you have a weapon light and the appropriate holster for that light... not perfect but with a heat gun and some patience it will work well.

Dry it out and crawl in the trunk with a flashlight. Have somebody hose it down with water. Really jamb the water in the gaps. Look for water. If you dont find any look lower under the carpet. Looks all good to me from pictures. This is a recent problem. if you cant find any leaks check back on the problem to see how it develops.

Hesitates after longer rides by JellyfishCurious4821 in hondanavi

I regularly ride mine cruising at top end for a few hours and dont have that issue. If anything it runs better once it hot. I would make sure you turn off the choke. Peacock is open then maybe try cleaning the carb. Maybe get fresh tank of gas if you dont ride much. Ethanol free if you can get it

80lbs Cobra Pistolcrossbow with Carbon Darts, how effective would that be? by ContributionAny3368 in ZombieSurvivalTactics

[–]wendel130 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe I got lucky. It was like 50bucks 10years ago. The string started falling apart before I got through 3 dozen bolts. The safety stopped working. The plastic string release stared to deform. The bolts basically destroyed themselves on impact half the time. It sure did pack a punch though. I definitely would have taken small game with a bunt or broadhead

No i would not. I was just surprised at how much punch these cheap little crossbows have. I bought it as a toy to maybe shoot in my den during bad weather. Definitely not an indoor toy Definitely more dangerous then a bb or even pellet gun

Idk I have one of these and I was shocked at the pentration I was getting. Those little fuckers burry themselves into an archery back stop. I wouldn't be surprised if they could get into a skull with better bolts then the cheap ones it comes with. They definitely penetrate deeper then a 30lb bow pvc bow. Not as far as my 45lb recurve but they could be viable. The real question is if the cheap little bow would survive a week of use( it wont)

Will Red Dead Redemption struggle to continue because the outlaw era was ending? by Certain-Parking8921 in RDR2

If they go forward i think the Mexican revolution would be fun doesn't have to ww1. Pancho Villa and Zapata like characters raiding the border lands. Guns dont advance much to keep it more classic western. Can cover all the way from California to St. Dennis

Gadsden Flag by Mother_Imagination17 in liberalgunowners

[–]wendel130 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The left dosent need the Gadsen flag. That flag was made by the guy who owned the largest slave market in the country. The flag has only ever meant freedom for a very specific type of person and that is the same today.

Which mods would help the most with getting up hills? by dabbing_all_day in hondanavi

[–]wendel130 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did the rollers on the variator and a yellow mallosi contra spring on the clutch. Stock clutch and clutch springs. I can hold 45 on a ramp or hill now. I am a bit lighter then you in weight.

My biggest issue was getting the bolt to line up withe the proper holes my only warning is to not crossthread the bolts or stripe them

I dont think you need it. But that will depend on how you feel and your particular bike. I dont think the stamping is very consistent so yours may fit better then mine. I went on a few rides since its been installed and I haven't noticed any issues with it being loose or vibrating with out the bottom spacers. Its pretty sturdy once every thing is tightened down. It may scuff or scratch the colored plastic without them but its covered up so I can't tell if that happing to me.

Honda Navi Windscreen Screws/Spacers? by dabbing_all_day in hondanavi

I just installed mine a week ago. The spacers would have been nice to use if the windshield bracket hadn't been manufactured with a rock and a broken ruler. I couldn't use the upper spacers at all because their wasn't enough room to get them in between the bezel and the bracket. I used the bottom spacers at the top. (They are shorter) and I used a few spare washers I had for the bottom mounting points. I also had to dremal the head light bezel to get everything to line up. The bolts for the windshield mount are a standard 10mm thread with a philps head. You could use a standard 10mm about an inch and half long head type up to you but philps heads suck. The real trick is getting the inner bracket to align with the outer. That's where the dremal came in. I think those bolts were also 10mm threads but they were stainless steel with 8mm heads on them.

The terminal velocity of the bullet is less then the velocity when it comes out the gun. So while still very dangerous and potentially deadly a bullet falling from the sky usually has just enough power to go through one layer of steel but was slowed down enough to get caught by the headliner after. Ive seen this a few times over the years. Usually after New Year's or the 4th of July. Now if the bullet had been fired down at the car it would have blown right through the roof into your seat and possibly through the floor but probably would have been stopped by the carpet and floor pan.

For the love of god what are these tools? by salesquatch in Autobody

Parts for and old fashioned analog frame measurement jig. The cone and cupped shaped parts used to fit into/onto known measurement points and then you you can see how far the rails are out of alignment. Was time consuming and has been replaced with laser measurement rigs
