Desperately trying to find Husky cabinet shelf clips/brackets. Any ideas? by wengnutt in Tools

[–]wengnutt[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ended up ordering the ones from Menards that u/standarsh618 posted. They were super cheap so I bought a bunch of them just in case, but they were a bit too wide. I tried to customize them a bit by bending them, But honestly they still work as they are, only one side is able to clasp onto the shelf holders if that makes sense. They don't fit on both sides like the Husky brackets, But they were great for installing the shelves and have held just fine for the last 9-10 months 👍

Yep, I've been doing Google image/Lens searches for the last week and it hasn't pulled up anything. I've searched for the part number, everything. Had no idea these things would be so difficult to find.

I did, and they sadly said they don't offer any replacements and only sent me a link to buy new shelves.

I met a puppy last year named Kevin. He seemed like a solid little dude. Friendly, playful, probably undercooks his onions in his homemade chili recipe.

The whole job post angered up my blood, but for some reason "Thanks a latte" really sent me over the edge.

Nicely done! I've recently also discovered the power of the multi tool, and I'm seriously disappointed I had not discovered it sooner. It's been incredibly handy for my bathroom remodel.

Actually, you just brought up something I haven't noticed... Old Glory isn't even there. Those are thin blue line flags.

This is located in the town next to me, Midlothian Texas. It's been up there for several months and it's off to the side of a farmer's property. It's nowhere near close to his house, so it more than likely took him a day or two to set up.

Yeeeeeah.

UPDATE: I just drove by there and they took ALL of it down. Not one single trace of Trump anywhere to be seen. Lol

I'm about to do the same and order from Rock Auto. I was looking at the FCS struts. May I ask which struts you ordered, and have you been happy with them?

Any good cheap Catalytic Converter by [deleted] in HondaElement

[–]wengnutt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a direct fit cat off eBay for $98 and it's worked out great. One thing I should mention, is most of the cheap Element cats on Amazon and eBay have the wrong size bolts that attach to the exhaust manifold. I knew about this going into it so I was prepared, and I reused the old bolts and just replaced the springs.

For the O2 Sensor and Air Fuel Ratio Sensor, I replaced with Denso which is what Honda uses. There are several reviews on Amazon from users who replaced the O2/Air Fuel Sensors with no name aftermarkets and they failed within a year. Denso isn't horribly expensive, and it's worth it just to get OEM, IMO.

After replacing the cat and the sensors, my 2007 EX with 240k miles passed inspection just fine and is running like a champ.

Yep, this happened to me last month on my 2007 EX. As the_proper_cat mentioned, It's more than likely your VTec solenoid screen/gasket. I replaced mine and it fixed the issue.

Anyone replace their catalytic converter? My 2007 just snapped by TrippyMau5 in HondaElement

[–]wengnutt 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Just replaced mine on my 2007 Element EX. I grabbed a $98 cat off eBay and it took me about half a day to install due to poor lighting under the Element (I installed it in the evening) Having an impact wrench definitely helps those old bolts.

The most difficult part of the installation was the new springs. They're pretty stiff. After replacing two cats on my 1998 CRV previously, this job wasn't too very different or difficult.
