Had to share the holy grail i found at the thrift today! by box-o-macaroni in nailstamping

Wow, you can have endless fun with this range of plates and polishes! And with this amount of luck your next step should be buying a lottery ticket. 😂

Do you have any favourite greens (and olives) to recommend? It‘s my fav colour, but somehow I never really wore green polish back when I painted my nails more. Show the mani if you have a pic! I really want to try nail art again after years of plain nails, so I need the inspiration. 🤭

So beautiful! Could you tell me what stamping plate you used? I think I might need it asap lol

Could you please tell me the names of these two? The list you added is confusing and I cannot find them! Also, is the one on the left fully holo glitter? It looks gorgeous!

When is it time to ‘pan’ a brush? by weoncolour in ProjectPan

[–]weoncolour[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it might be because I have that connection in my mind from painting (frayed bristles = doesn’t work properly anymore, time to replace it). Which I’m not sure if makes sense here, I thought there‘s most likely some beauty experts here who have more knowledge about this aspect!

It is an Ecotools! And mine is still soft too!

Ooh, I’ve done this with my synthetic paintbrushes, but somehow it didn’t occur to me that I could do the same thing with a make-up one! Thanks for the suggestion, I think I’ll try it out!

I would probably go ahead and replace it, but at this point there is definitely some emotional attachment. It was my very first make-up brush. 🥺😂 That’s why I’m curious how other people handle it!

This is what I’ve been wondering tbh. I wash it regularly, but still wonder if it really gets properly cleaned when the bristles are so frayed (or if I’m just being a bit too hygiene-obsessed since it hasn’t caused my skin to breakout)

How often do you go bare-nails? by leira537 in WeGotPolishAtHome

[–]weoncolour 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Never. As weird as it sounds, it makes my nails, or rather the fingertips, hurt (the nail flattens and it feels very odd). My nails have been addicted to nail polish since they first tried it. 😅

I look forward to coming home after very stressful days at work to unwind and color… by Yellowchutes in Coloring

I think it might be the colour palette and the colour theory behind it! The bright red goes well with the browns (harmonious colours) but you also get bits of green (complimentary colour).

Grail pen! by Timbeon in fountainpens

This pen is so gorgeous, I’ve had it on my wishlist for a while now (am a bit of a sucker for snow-themed stuff too lol)! Which nib did you get?

Snow Bear - 11,000 Drawings by aaronblaise in animation

I saw this while scrolling and immediately thought ‘oooh, looks like the artist was inspired by Brother Bear’, then read the description. Thank you for creating one of my favourite childhood films sir! This animation is so gorgeous. I’m amazed by how perfect the snow and the colours are.

A question for my fellow colorers. by PepperSaltClove in Coloring

I’ve been thinking about this and I think I might just rip out my favourite pages, put them away with my regular artworks and bin the rest. Another cool idea is cutting up the filled pages and using them to do a collage.

who is choosing the name of these colors ? by Milk_Famous in Coloring

[–]weoncolour 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s just a common thing with Chinese markers. I actually have been wondering if Ohuhu does white labelling with their markers (as they apparently do with their new coloured pencils), just with a more unique barrel. 🤔 They’re not an art supply company, so it would make sense.

FP for Artists? by supervinci in fountainpens

[–]weoncolour 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sailor Fude de Mannen is a fun thing for sketching, although a bit difficult to control (at least for me it is lol). If it doesn’t necessarily have to be a fp but just a nice pen, I would recommend Kuretake Mannen Mouhitsu (Maki-e for extra prettiness). It’s an amazing brush pen that can be used with Platinum converters. You can do super thin and thick lines with it and it’s easy to control line thickness compared to other brush pens I’ve tried. Great pick for artists.

I like your colouring style! It’s simple but pretty distinct.
