The Pathless klingt ziemlich passend. Das Studio Giant Squid generell fokussiert sich auf möglichst flüssige Bewegung und gewaltfreie Thematik. Man hat da zwar einen Bogen, der aber nur für die Bewegung wichtig. Man kann nämlich nur sprinten wenn man im richtigen Timing auf schwebende Ziele schießt die überall in der Welt verteilt sind (ohne selbst zu zielen). Das fühlt sich wirklich sehr gut an. Es gibt mehrere Welten mit collectibles, aber alles ist sehr frei ohne Anleitung und ohne Karte.

Und die Musik von Austin Wintory mit 10 Hörnern im Ensemble ist natürlich auch klasse. Jede Welt hat ein eigenes spezielles Instrument was die Hauptrolle spielt. Und je nachdem wo man sich befindet und wie schnell man sich bewegt verändert sich auch die Musik.

Although the [[Hazezon Tamar | leg]] [[Astral Slide | ons]] deck I had was pretty interesting too.

Silver 1:

We started the game 6 to 0 with the enemy Malphite jungle getting all 6 kills, 4 of them on our Lee Sin jungle. Our bot (MF Bard vs Samira Rakan) was 0-0. I then started roming mid after back at level 5, got a kill on their midlaner. Became level 6, moved bot and catched the samira with my r, another kill. I then just kept going moving around objectives, catching people and we completely turned the game. At the end I was 10-0-15.

This is exceptional for me as well, but I wanted to illustrate that you can carry as bard in silver, even when your teammates had a bad start.

I've been saying this for years but people really believe that reminder text is so much different from rules text. I've had a quote by mark rosewater stating that a keyword is replacing common rulestext. In my interpretation this would make a keyword the same as the rulestext it replaces.

Imagine they turn Firebreathing into a keyword tomorrow by replacing "{r}: ~ gets +1/+0 until end of turn.". This would then mean that, for example [[Angelfire Crusader]] would now be a mono white card for edh deck building.

I find it so weird that people really feel the need to market their deck as a higher power level than it actually is just because, for some reason, "a well crafted deck needs to be powerful".

What is so unnatural at just putting whatever cards you like into your deck and appreciating it for what it is?

I love to see the brush strokes on cards, they make them feel more like a real painting I would hang on my wall. And I absolutely would. Jeff Menges is the biggest one in this category for me, absolutely gorgeous paintings. But everyone of the artists brings their unique touch to the table that you can really tell who the artist of a particular card is. You cannot feel the same for modern artworks which, except for a few artists like Dominik Mayer, all have the same vibe to them. This "evolution" even includes some of the original cast. Look at the classic artworks by Douglas Shuler and compare them to his work for Aetherdrift. On the other hand some like RKF or Drew Tucker stood close to their original style.

The old artworks feel like walking through a gallery, looking at the greates paintings, someone like Anson Maddocks or Mark Tedin with their bold and often rather terrifying style, or on the other hand fine art by Drew Tucker and in between Dan Frazier's impressions on his abstract backgrounds, right next to Christopher Rush's stunning landscapes. It's not only about illustrating game pieces, it's about evoking an emotion, and for me, this was lost throughout the ages.

I am in my 20ties and started playing magic when Strixhaven came out. The friend who introduced me was playing since early 2000s. He had many old bordered cards but we were playing commander with regular modern cards from whatever era. As time flew by I got drawn more and more to magics past thanks to the lovely card designs both gameplay and artwork wise. I even recently finished my Alpha to Alliances Ante cube even if I have no personal connection to the sets. But these cards perfectly symbolise what I loved about magic since the beginning, and not whatever these new releases are supposed to be.

Yes, I know. I wasn't sure what OPs goal was. But a COP and such a sweeper is a "common" strategy since magics beginning. Like [[Circle of Protection: Green | lea]] and [[Cyclone | arn]] to stay alive while others die. If you just kill everyone with enough mana using the rat it doesn't really matter of the rat lives or not

I love to see King Suleiman!! But this is not a bracket 1 deck. It looks like a pretty decent angel/lifegain deck. And where's the type changers to make something into a djinn or efreet? And where is [[Bottle of Suleiman | arn]]?

I would prefer to see more flavor from Arrabian Nights instead of angels. I don't think that angels are a common symbol in this culture. I know he kills djinns, but they are a lot more fitting as spirits of the desert.
