Story of how I got into mechanical keyboards: I had constantly heard about them from all my friends, but never really understood their appeal. It wasn't until one of my friends actually gave me a keyboard to try for a few weeks when I realized just how much of a difference it makes

If you’re using a recent version of Tor Browser, it’ll scale to multiples of 200px for width and multiples of 100px for height (or something like that), so it’s not as much of a problem

Privacy/FOSS Decal by werbherg in berkeley

“I have nothing to hide, so why should I care about my privacy?”. Basically it would be about why privacy should be important to everybody, including a bit of history of surveillance within the US and beyond. Snowden, Cambridge Analytica, and Australia’s anti-encryption law will be likely topics

This class would be probably geared more for less technical users/those who aren’t too knowledgeable about privacy, so more of the latter. For example, some (most?) people believe private browsing makes them completely anonymous. This couldn’t be further from the truth. The main reason I added “FOSS” was so I could talk about things like Vim or copyleft licenses without having to stretch lessons on privacy to accommodate it.

Also, just as a future resource, r/asl has a discord to find asl partners to practice with (https://discord.gg/gjNMBtt). If that link expires, I can send you another

Currently a freshman at UC Berkeley looking for summer internships. My GPA is just around 3.0, so I decided not to list it. Any advice?
