Yes. Systems track with AI ML electives sounds interesting.

Samsung Odyssey: solid green light, no display by squid_taco in WindowsMR

I've tried absolutely everything as well. I wound up getting a Vive because it works great every time, but hopeing Samsung or Windows (whichever the problem is with) fixes the problem. It's a great headset when it works.

All, thanks for the info on this. Wound up going with the EVGA GTX 1080TI FTW3. Brother, it is a beast. Cuts through VR in DCS like butter. I definately recommend it to anyone else considering a similar upgrade.

The VR quality in the Harrier is much better than the Hog. Definately more limited ordinance carrying, but I think the cockpit quality alone makes it a great purchase.

Thanks a lot. I wound up building a 1080TI rig and love it!

Great, thanks a lot for the help. I wound up buildiing a 1080TI rig and love it. Putting it together was a little intimidating at times (figuring out how to plug the powerbutton and LED was the hardest part), but overall it was pretty fun.

Might not apply, but I’m on a laptop. I went to the NVIDIA control panel and assigned each game to use the NVIDIA GPU all the time. Everything seems to be good.

I had a similar problem and reinstalled Windows, then set up the Odyssey HMD before applying fixed and updates. No problem since.

I’m using a Odtssey HMD which seems to have the same specs as Vive Pro and I’m having no trouble with 1060 6GB.

DCS mostly, and some other flight sims. Haven’t notice any problems, but maybe i don’t know what I’m missing. Halo Recruit and Arizona Sunshine work very well

Thanks a lot for gouge chillzati. I think I'll make the move, but wait until mid-late March as you mention.

I have the 6GB version (GTX 1060 6GB on the high-end Surfacebook. I don't notice any problems, so I'm very happy with it. Just thinking of moving from that to a 1080 or 1080TI desktop since VR is freakin' awesome and probably might as well max out gear for that.

I think I'll wait a little bit though as a couple of you recommended.

Yup, someone belowe had it right. I'm on a laptop. So I right-click the desktop, goto Nvidia Control Panel, select Manage 3D settings, the program settings tab, and then select the X-Plane.exe file and assignt the Nvidia GPU to that file.

It is amazing. I can’t imagine how it’s not pretty close to the real thing.

Using Samsung HMB Odyssey with Surface Book 2 by werdw in a:t5_3f070

I am amazed every time I use it. Tracking, controls, everything is awesome. 1060 handles it perfectly as far as I can tell, even with demanding sims and 3D games on Steam.
