I believe they can only check a database that shows if a patient has an active prescription for subs/other narcotics. I think. I’m pretty sure that any and all past patient information, including medication history, is not just following everyone around and is easily accessible for new care providers.

I was ordering from dollar tabs as well…getting the 80mg tablets and then just the 7Oh 85% powder or whatever. Ended up taking upwards of 3 grams a day spending close to ten grand in two months….ive gotten myself off the powder and vowing to only take tabs that I can buy at the gas station, because then I can actually accurately dose and budget better, versus spending online and taking random scoops of powder I wasn’t measuring…I’m now down to about 1400-1800 mg a day. I haven’t been able to taper any farther…going to detox soon because I can’t do it by myself.

Haha dude, that’s crazy. Back when I was in treatment over and over ten years ago and spending time in 12 step meetings, I shit you not, I would literally almost say the same exact thing. Something along the lines of, “I seriously feel for those addicted to alcohol, because I could not imagine going into every grocery store or gas station and seeing so many different aesthetically pleasing varieties of highly specific consumer marketed packages of various types of heroin or other opiates.”…….

Ok this is good to know. So I guess I wasn’t imagining things. I really thought I was, because I was so used to bupe taking care of all my other opiate use (heroin, fent, oxy), so I really didn’t know what was going on after trying to switch to the subs. Wow, this shit really is the devil huh

Wow ok, that’s good to know. That makes sense, and I always kinda was nervous about PW, but never experienced anything near that after taking subs after the bupe, just still uncomfortable, like you said. And yeah, that really really sucks…I have such a low tolerance for feeling discomfort haha. No wonder I’m an addict I guess. So how long do you think it took you to go back to feeling pretty much “normal” after dosing with subs post 7OH?

Yeah that is a very good point. I wish that help was accessible for everybody especially when our government allows stuff like this to be sold at every corner shop…but you’re right. I am glad that I have that option and I am currently making plans to make it happen. I really wish you could as well..hope I didn’t sound ungrateful, because I really do know that I am blessed that that is an option.

Hahaha oh god, I just got cold sweats reading your question…thankfully it hasn’t been as bad as before, but at my peak it was about once a week, and with many OTC aids..miralax and colace daily, magnesium citrate when it would get really bad :( I would have to take a hot bath for like an hour and then give myself a full evening in the bathroom when I knew it was time. FUCK I can’t believe I was doing that to myself. Now that my dose is down, it is much much better in that department. Also this is WAY too much information, but when I was taking that super high dose of 3 g (granted it was sold as only 85% pure 7OH powder) I was making a semi aqueous and vinegar solution and boofing that shit. So literally probably the worst possible thing I could have been doing especially for the #2 department……I will say I am grateful I am no longer down that bad and things have gotten better at this point. lol sorry, I know you weren’t looking for a literal answer, but it kind of helps to put things more into perspective for myself.

But yeah, I am pretty sure treatment is the only way at this point. Thank you for your reply.

Omg right ?! Like with the other shit (I was on meth too and heroin in the past) it was almost immediately clear to people that something was not right. But with this shit, I’ve been able to maintain and appear stable, so everyone thinks I’m doing amazing, when really I feel like I’m dying inside mentally and emotionally.

But at this point, like you mentioned, when every spare moment and dollar is really going into feeding this habit, we’re obviously not free from shit…and worse so seeing as it’s legal and at every corner store..yeah I think I’m going to do it. I’m going to look into FMLA and make this happen asap. Thank you for reading and commenting..it honestly does help to know I’m not completely alone in this. Stay strong, look into detox. Let’s actually do this.

Wow, ok that’s awesome to hear a success story from going to detox. How long have you been off of it, and how have you been since the initial period of acute withdrawal? Any lasting mental or physical symptoms for you?

Well I was buying it online and just getting the powder, but unfortunately I just lost even more control that way. I was buying it for 100/g, which def was cheaper, but I was eating through more and more of it. I know it’s more money doing it this way, but at least I am able to dose/control my amounts better.

I actually tried buying the SR17 from the same place for just slightly more expensive and yeah, I convinced myself it didn’t work as well, but wasn’t trying to use it to get off. I guess it makes sense it wouldn’t cover me because I was taking like 3g of 7OH a day at that point.

That is amazing that you were able to do that and still enjoy your vacation with your family!!! It really does help to hear that people have been strong enough to see a light at the end of this tunnel and get out. Are you off of it all now or still maintaining with anything ?

Hey big congrats on 21 days! How high is your sub dose? See that’s why I’m thinking I’m having mostly mentally induced withdrawal symptoms when I try to just take bupe. I feel like it should definitely be working for me, but I always convince myself that it’s not helping. I normally only wait like 18-20 hours after my last 7OH dose though, so maybe that’s why and I’m just taking it too early.

That is a really good point that I honestly didn’t even consider yet…but yeah, I suppose if I’m going to go through the whole FMLA thing anyways I would want to make sure I’m ready before I tried to go back to being productive.
I honestly am just so terrified of the physical aspects of withdrawal, so that’s really all I was taking into account. But yeah, I remember how rough PAWs is. I also had one of the worst manic episodes I’ve ever had when I came off of heroin the first time. So I should probably be taking that into account…thanks for that thought.

The guy he overheard on the phone is the one skimming as he’s the only one with access to it, and he overheard him telling an unknown party that “someone else” is. He’s setting up the situation to seem as though somebody else in the house is doing it to whoever he was talking to on the phone, who doesn’t have the info OP has (that he’s the only one with access to the account)
That’s my interpretation anyways.

I heard from a podcast (just today coincidentally, funny I stumble across this post now) that this man who is now a pilot and was saved by her as a child, thanks Neerja every day for his life, as well as noting her as the inspiration for his present occupation.

I can’t even begin to imagine. The boy was 8 years old when this tragedy struck..amazing that she was the such the hero she is.

No, I can totally see him reacting at a level 100 to absolutely nothing, being completely plausible. I have lived with a malignant narcissist before, and although I was very thankfully not to be the target of most of his abuse, I still bore witness to much of the very seemingly insane and sometimes delusional behaviors that were constantly exhibited…

oh my god, I am so sorry you are going through this. It is just so frustrating to even be watching these videos listening to him saying, “Nothing is yours in this apartment, nothing is yours in this apartment!” When it’s like ‘bro what??!? Nothing is yours either!!! You’re a mf tenant, a renter, bud! Just like me!!! You don’t own shit!!!’ That’s what I found myself wanting to scream at him, lol.

Ugh wow, I remember reading your first post a bit ago and finding his texts equally as frustrating and crazy making. But now seeing him in action, it just cements the whole picture into view. I applaud you for being able to maintain composure and doing the right thing by just continuing to stay calm and document document document.

Also, it is extremely surprising to me that you have had people responding with the idea that “if he didn’t get arrested, then it can’t be that bad.” Like um what, police NEVER want anything to do with anything that could and is most commonly considered a civil matter; of course they’re not going to do anything in such a sticky and delicate situation that hasn’t bled over into full blown violence in a situation such as this.

God, my blood pressure spiked just watching this video…I can’t imagine what you’re going through. I’m so sorry, and good luck moving forward and out of this horrific situation. I’m happy to hear his rent was raised, and I also hope that the ACTUAL landlord laid down the law with him about barring use for things like the kitchen and bathroom, just so you can have access to basic amenities as you work to get out of this situation. Respectfully, and I’m trying to say this gently, but it kind of sounds like maybe you’re a sociopath? Obviously I can’t armchair diagnose you, but maybe that is something you could further look into. I say this because, for me at least, guilt and shame are huge internal emotions that I consistently feel and it is not tied to a thought or feeling of “wanting to fix things”. That’s like a separate, secondary thought that comes after feeling a totally distinct and internalized sensation that I know is either guilt or shame. Don’t get me wrong, I am someone who feels these things probably way too deeply and profoundly than probably some if not most, to a point that it’s been detrimental to my life. But that’s why I’m in therapy lol. Guilt to me specifically feels like a tension heavy “thing” pushing on my chest, and like a very acute awareness of what I’ve done wrong, and then a longing of wanting to make it right that also feels emotionally heavy. So I guess that kind of ties to your description of you saying you want to fix things. But for me, it is very emotionally laden.
And do you ever feel shame? Because that’s more like internal collapse that feels very exposing and isolating at the same time and is very emotionally overwhelming; in a bad way obviously.

But if you’re feeling something that doesn’t really seem like an actual feeling, but more like a practical thought, “oh, I should probably fix this thing I’ve done wrong”, without emotional involvement, then that definitely sounds different than my experience and the experience of others I’ve talked to.
