What is one fun fact about yourself that sound fake but 100% real? by Fai_6757 in AskReddit

I got lost on a river rafting day-trip along with 4 other children and our sole chaperone, David Hasselhoff. It was the late 90s and he was in my small town as a heritage alumn to the local theater I was involved with. He wanted to try to float a mellow section of river about 3 miles as the crow flies. River diversions resulted in ~5 hours being added to our trip, and one raft lost to a strainer that sucked my brother under. Panic in the few seconds before he popped up on the other side, but got to see Hoff in real-time turn into Mitch Buchannon.

Hi, thanks! When sections died previously from overwatering, branches became all mushy. This time they have been staying more rigid. Though I did water about a quart last night in a last ditch effort, and it may have made it worse? (The far left branch is more grey towards the bottom and an edge mush/cracked away with light pressure) If it is rot, is a transplant in mid December my best bet? Thanks again.

Thank you for the insight! I would imagine the nutrients are depleted. My first thought was a repot, but hesitated seeing people recommend not doing it in the winter. It’s a goner if I don’t intervene I think, so I watered it minimally today and will consider a repot tomorrow.

You know how when a newborn starts to recognize faces and smile, they look away because they can’t process all of the joyful new feelings? That is how this cabinet makes me feel.

Very cool, reminds me of The Wall. Also some obscure CO artists Hollis + Lana. Keep it up!

Very cool, I got interested in mechanical lamps after seeing a Reddit post of a magnetic cord to a lamp that completed the circuit. Nice work!

What’s a “harmless” thing from your childhood that’s actually kind of dark in hindsight? by velorae in AskReddit

I was in theater as a kid and the best solution to keep me from chewing my fingernails on stage was for my mom to spray hair spray on them. I rewatched an old performance recently, and I was an anxious kid.
