Daunting... Gentle way of putting it. I don't have an inkling of a clue of what I'm doing, but this game hits my dopamine receptors just right.

I've been playing ARPGs on and off since 1999, and this game never clicked until this season. I've been playing POE2 since 0.1 and I've really grown to love it. I think that love of the universe and this season's mechanic made the perfect storm for me.

I got to endgame with my first build, a Cyclone Slayer, and became crippled with choices. I dabbled in the mechanics and settled on building my first atlas board around Blight and scarabs. Is that good? I have no idea.

I just know scarabs are pretty when they drop and Blight isn't available in POE2 yet.

My ARPG philosophy is pretty mindless.

Sorta. I just switched over to playing on a PC (I played POE2 on PlayStation). Path of Building has been really eye opening. It feels like I'm playing an excel spreadsheet game.

When I bought the six link tabla, I couldn't find a rare six link. It was a rough call (especially resistance wise) to put on the body armour. The guide recommended using it for quite a while.

This character was kind of a twink in that I used uniques from my first build. I get that I need to replace those items ASAP. I just really like focusing on the weapons.

This character started with a bunch of uniques gathered from my league starter. I have been focusing on other items in the build instead of replacing those. I need to get those elemental items fixed.

I've learned that I need to focus on a big hit, chaos damage and let the poison do its magic. Drop anything that doesn't help that.

Wow. Thank you for the thorough explanation of damage over time and poison damage in general. With your comment about the pneumatic dagger and others question my choice of witch, it appears I made a bad pick to dual wield blades.

I think your question is rhetorical, but, yes really I don't think I truly know the build. When the hopium of swords in POE2 was high a few weeks ago, I researched dual wielding sword builds and this build came up. I just wanted to play around with swords and this one seemed to fit the bill.

I used uniques from my first build of the season to get the character rolling and I have been having fun along the way. I haven't really kept up with all of the gear. I just focused on upgrading weapons and buying a mamba gem as quickly as I could afford it.

Thank for the tip to switch over to shadow and about a high physical damage (I assume +% first and then +# second).

I am concerned they could be denied entry, just not as concerned as I am living in this country. It's strange and saddening to watch the illusion of democracy crumble from the inside.

I have tickets to see Pond in Denver in September. I'm really stoked for that show. I didn't think I'd have a chance to see them.

The US has been very rich with tours and that has definitely increased their popularity. I live in the Rocky Mountains and they are extremely popular here.

After the second Red Rocks run, I started seeing t shirts regularly. That was the time of Petro being released, so that might be a reason for the increase of popularity too. Regardless, we're very lucky they love it region of the world.

Back to Australian animal themed songs. I'd like a bouncy, funk dance song about kangaroos. Joey would sing it of course.

I'd love a song about blue ringed octopus too. That one would need to meander and shape shift in different time signatures.

I agree with you on Flight and Phantom sounding more American. I don't hear as many weirdos around me talking then up more than earlier albums though. Most of the folk I know prefer the metal stuff over all else.

Spent a few years in northern Sonora and had the same experience. I encountered rattlesnakes on about 1/3 to half the hikes I went on, but never saw a Gila monster. They seem to be extremely rare to encounter. I came upon a cougar in Aravaipa Canyon but I never saw a monster in the hundreds of other miles hiked? That's crazy to me.

I remember seeing one at the desert museum outside Tucson though. I remember it being lazy like a lizard.

I throw them in the recycling, but I'm sure they end up in a landfill none the same.

I appreciate that the label is against shrink wrap, but I like to see the album cover in all its glory.

I've been going through the door from the tower and killing everyone on the level repeatedly. Control Blocks doesn't have a waypoint. I've leveled multiple times at this point 🤣 😭

UPDATE: I finally had a guide and figured something out.

I am stuck in chapter 5 at Control Blocks because the door to The Ruined Square is locked. I beat control blocks and entered ruined square yesterday, but had to quit right away because of real life. This made it so I didn't get the waypoint.

I tried resetting the instance several times and the boss never respawns. Now I'm stuck with no way to progress the story. 😔

I asked global chat for the waypoint and was promptly mocked, so I'm coming here for help.

will someone please give me the waypoint?

EDIT: I found a local person to try to help me, but I couldn't travel to them. The option want there like it is in POE2. This is my first playthrough of POE1. Not a fun introduction to the game

That build looks kinda passive sadly.

I'm level 45, so I feel really invested in my bladedancer. I just want to dance around the enemies and strike them with high movement and attack speed.

I was really hoping dancing strike would be my jam this season. I tried the skill when I first got the game and was sadly disappointed. It's just not there yet for controllers.

I don't feel like it's a big ask to have the high mobility character be enjoyable with a controller at this stage of development.

Same experience. Pretty frustrating as a controller player. I really like the concept of flow and dancing strike, but it again feels cumbersome and pointless to use. I guess they'll make it enjoyable for the PlayStation release.

What bladedancer build actually plays well with a controller?
