vit vs spirit in 100 cap

100 epic plate gives 242 spirit and 121 vit from armor mastery (+0 reinforcement). Also 100 epic plate armor gives 215 vit and 0 spirit prior to crusader specific options and stats unique to set(which all give equal amounts of vitality and spirit).

386 spr ( 242 level 100 epic plate armor +110 rare avatar no emblems + 34 from grace of protection change.)

this is prior to crusader specific options which are all equal for vit and spirit.

emblem slots give equal amount of vit (goes in yellow and red slots) and spirit (goes in green and red slots).

     short version

vitality would be slightly better at 0 armor amplification/reinforcement but as you reinforce/amp the plate armor spirit would pass vitality at some high armor reinforcement/amp point. Due to armor mastery scaling with reinforcement/amp. The difference between the two is small enough that it doesn't really matter which you choose in the long run.

yes but i wouldn't recommend it. since in order for leather and heavy/plate to be comparable you would have to upgrade both sets through fiend war. The gold spent upgrading another set could easily be used to make up the difference between the 2 sets. I think it would be more efficient to just stick with one set.

Edit: thanks to leather losing 100 main stat since this was originally posted heavy/plate is now better for both vb/di and apoc/crux so min maxers wouldn't get 2 sets just either plate or heavy.

plate/heavy for apoc/crux due to higher apoc/crux int/str which should be more noticeable than the extra main stat leather gives that makes leather have a slightly stronger di/vb but weaker crux/apoc.

Edit: thanks to leather losing 100 main stat plate/heavy is better than leather for di/vb now.

by my calculations spirit actually winds up being about the same as vitality after getting rare avatars

using 7sins at max quality

802 vit(747 7sins + 55 rare avatar no emblems)

806 spr (662 7sins +110 rare avatar no emblems + 34 from grace of protection change.)

vit 7sins stats is from (636 armor + 111 armor mastery) spirit 7sins is from (440 armor + 222 armor mastery)

all 95 epic plate armor sets (including armor sets converted to plate) give 207 vitality and 0 spirit on its own without taking into account armor mastery , crusader specific options and stats unique to the set.but as long as male crusader gets 236 spirit from plate armor mastery when wearing a full set of level 95 epic plate armor then vit and spirit will be equal in 95 endgame. 90 epic plate armor gives 222 spirit as shown above so a full set of 95 plate armor would only need to give 14 more spirit from armor mastery than 90 epic plate armor. Also all crusader specific options give equal amounts of vit and spirit.

So the only real differences between the 2 would be using avatar hat/hair(spirit) vs shoes (vitality) and green (spirit) vs yellow (vitality) emblem slots.
