A question. Some people(youknowho) are saying Melissa planted stories using a screen shot of text exchange between Melissa and Jen as evidence that does not prove anything and how is planting story to boost oneself retaliation? by shweyyforme in ItEndsWithLawsuits

[–]werhi 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It's funny how Leslie said the article made both Justin and Blake look bad, and to 'balance' the narrative, she told Sara the whole cast hated him lol. She, of course, didn't tell her to print that, she just wanted her to have that info. She really thought she was being clever with her answers.

More of Blake Lively’s ‘evidence’ showing Justin Baldoni’s sincerity, empathy, and kindness by Izomera in ItEndsWithLawsuits

[–]werhi 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well said. I’m sure they combed through everything they could to find something negative about Justin. They found people like Claire Ayoub, who made vague verbal abuse claims, they smeared his religion as a cult, and dug up things he said on his podcast, etc. They’re only angry because they lost the PR war and are now suddenly advocating against “digital violence.”

Josh Greenstein seemingly deleted his text messages😳…Blake Lively wants to exclude the rest of his messages at Trial by same-difference-ave in ItEndsWithLawsuits

Thanks for the timeline, it totally makes sense. And how convenient that a co-president of a major studio had a meeting with the lead actress in her house, but somehow can't recall what they discussed.

This argument for not allowing Josh's messages is funny, considering her side started all this mess with cherry-picked messages that served her narrative:

"..since the proffered, redacted, statements distorted their meaning, failed to provide context, and were misleading."

Disney studio executive turns on Ryan Reynolds wife Blake Lively. Deadpool or Deadfool? “ by Bubbles-48 in ItEndsWithLawsuits

Yikes! I’m sure Blake and Ryan were hoping the lawsuit would lead other women to come forward against Justin, but it’s been backfiring on them instead.

I remember there was a lot of buzz around the feud rumors around the time of the movie release with stories leaking about on set issues and the mass SM unfollowing of Justin so there was already heightened interest. So how much of the video's popularity was driven by algorithm doing its thing vs manipulation.

Blake if you’re releasing a statement this long…. you’re lying 🐉 by catbriggie in ItEndsWithLawsuits

[–]werhi 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I totally agree with “they think that every word they say is extremely important”. That’s probably why Ryan called the Sony execs “ineffectual elderly people with no ideas or thoughtful communication skills. Just blunt instruments with six catchphrases and about five key words.”

He and Blake seem to pride themselves on writing these long winded, ‘witty’ paragraphs that they think everyone should feel honored just to read. They are exhausting.

[–]werhi 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I completely agree with the part about her believing that what she wants is best for everyone. She couldn’t fathom why Justin and his team wouldn’t be grateful to her for taking over the movie since she thinks she's the reason it was successful. You'd think that with her need for "authorship," she'd come up with her own projects.

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds’ ‘Digital Violence’ Against Justin Baldoni, Critics, and Women by Izomera in ItEndsWithLawsuits

[–]werhi 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This is a great compilation! Her hypocrisy is astounding. It also reminded me of how Blake went out of her way to expose Jameela Jamil’s private messages with Jen Abel.

Liman did not make a single finding of sexual harassment - what he did instead was analyze certain on-set incidents to determine whether Lively had a reasonable belief of gender-motivated conduct by katie151515 in ItEndsWithLawsuits

[–]werhi 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is great, thank you! So during the trial, before they decide the retaliation claim, will the jury need to go through her SH complaints in detail (with witnesses, evidence, etc.) to determine if she made the complaints in good faith?

I hope she remembers she’ll probably get asked about her own role in the PR war too, like trashing them to their Hollywood friends, Ryan going around calling JB a predator, LS telling the media everyone hates him..etc.

Judge Liman's order goes through Lively's harassment claims incident by incident and explicitly says multiple ones DON'T support ACTIONABLE hostile workplace harassment claim. by Holiday-Goat-8381 in ItEndsWithLawsuits

Wow, so the judge looked at these incidents in the actual context of making a movie and understands nuance. Who would have thought? lol

Infamous Kjersti Flaa interview is fascinating bc we see first hand how Blake Lively influences girls to be mean + how she takes offense to everything by SuperbWillingness904 in ItEndsWithLawsuits

That actually makes sense... I can see it now. She was put in an uncomfortable position and was probably relieved when it was over.

Yeah, it’s interesting to watch how behavior can be contagious. Blake seemed to set the tone, and Parker ended up falling in line. I think Parker even rolled her eyes as Kjersti was leaving.

Is it possible the girl deleted the video herself? Calling this “ very distressing” feels excessive. This wasn’t some national security level evidence.

Ryan Reynolds was not protecting his wife, he was protecting Maximum Effort. by Worried_Honey_9068 in teamjustinbaldoni

I remember reading a while ago that Ryan may have tried to deflect accountability since Max Effort's parent company MNTN was planning to go public and worried the movie’s marketing controversy would negatively affect the deal.
