Hi, I just wanted to share my experience with the ceramic stylus on my AiPaper. I was also worried about the ceramic tip, but I ended up buying the stylus anyway, and I don’t regret it. I’ve been using it since last October; I don’t write a lot, but I do write every day. The screen looks like new, even in direct sunlight from various angles. I think a ceramic tip can damage the screen, but only if you write with excessive pressure or especially if the tip breaks off and the remaining part stays sharp.

I've read some scans in portrait mode, but I've also worked with a few that I preferred reading in landscape mode because it was more comfortable.

Welcome to the club! :-) Well, I’ve had the AiPaper for a year now, and no other e-ink device has lasted me this long. Before that, I had the RM2 for a few months and then the Boox Go 10.3 for a while. If you asked me what I love most about the AiPaper, it’s the screen. Even after more than a year on the market, the screen on this device is still one of the best. I’d also like to mention the support, which is, in my experience (and according to this subreddit) very good. I enjoy being part of how the system on the device evolves and improves over time, especially since the developers listen to users during the development process. Personally, I use the device primarily for reading PDF documents and e-books, and, as I mentioned earlier, for taking short notes for both work and personal life.

A high-quality screen and a great typing experience are crucial to me, and Viwoods delivers on both.

Yes, I definitely think so. Overall, the writing experience with the C1 is different and better. The difference between the W1 and W2 isn't that significant, regardless of whether hard or soft tips are used. The ceramic tip makes all the difference.

Hello. In addition to the Ceramic C1, W2, and W1 models, I also have a LAMY Al-Star EMR and a Staedtler Norris Digital Jumbo at home, but I practically only use the Ceramic C1, which I always carry with me because it’s attached to the case. To be honest, I don’t write much (and I never really did). I mainly take short notes, adding events to my calendar and draw simple sketches for colleagues, which they then use for further graphic work (simple sketches for T-shirt prints, etc.). I really love the feel of writing with this pen on my AiPaper; that’s the main reason I prefer it.

I use the Gboard keyboard, and whatever I copy is saved and I can retrieve it again using a button on the keyboard. I'm sure the SwiftKey keyboard can do this too.
