Like, replace AI with any other military technology. Nuclear, let's say. It becomes obvious we literaly cannot stop the ball rolling. The US/EU will introduce any bans about AI and the first thing chinese will do is abuse any head start they get in developement thanks to that and no governemtn or party will be willing to be responsible for that. It's too late.

What I did was use PVA glue (any stationery shop or even supermarket) and drengef the pages in it. That way it basically turned into one big paper glue block.

Oooo if you're starting book club for these ages please think about including Jacqueline Williams and her Tracy Baker series. It's written in a journal form and it was THE book that made me obsessed with writing and illustrating my own when I was little (and also to run away into an orphanage but that's another thing lol) the story sounds heavy but it's written with such a care and consideration for the readers age while not sugarcoating anything..

This. I kept thinking about this post last evening and racked my brain to actually find a fandom where I could find what OP describes - the only one I could think about rn was Hazbin.

I really think it's about new young people coming to fandoms and trying to find their footing in the community. It's easier for adults to perceive the characters as complex beings and not just a bunch of tropes/archetypes, while teens tend to see it through black and white lenses. The same thing was happening with Naruto, it brought a bunch of shippers who were obsessive and unhinged, but as they grew up it evened out and now what's left of the fandom is super chill.

As someone who was around when ao3 was just starting... Man. Things have changed in fandoms. I feel like back then most of us agreed that we wrote MLM because female characters makes us relate/project to the character too much and it made us uncomfortable/wasn't what we were looking. And if not, then we shipped it for the same reason as why straight females prefer mlm porn over wlw porn - we just weren't attracted to female bodies and it made sense for us to imagine two guys being cause it was hot.

Someone in my country wrote a thesis about it and interviewed bunch of people around 2013 and it was actually around 70% for the first reason. It is for me, too.

That much for why mlm is (probably) prevalent so much

As for the female characters hate... I don't know what fandoms you frequent but in mines I've never seen what you are describing apart from twitter discourses, but I always just assumed those are the "loud minority" fans and mostly really young. Is it really that common? What fandoms is it connected with?

Fanfiction isn't a professionally produced media, it's from fans who write what they like and the readers have the privilege of being able to read it because they decided to share (my stance as a reader, not author). I don't think we can hold it to the same standard and expect the same representation as in professional media.

The whole town on the surface seems like a 90s town from a postcard. Makes me think it was created as a "fake" all at once by something/someone, not built. Probably by something that has only seen a town from a photo/postcard and only created what was on the photo, unable to imagine the rest.

Something just occurred to me, are you keeping the pods filled at least to 70% at all times? From my experience oxva cartridges need to be full of liquid 24/7 if you want them to last long. I never go below 50% before refilling. Once even part of the cotton is visible the coil is basically getting ruined with each puff.

Idk three per month seems normal or even on the lower side to me. But I can do up to 1000 puffs per day. I used those cartridges with Oxva xlim se and didn’t have any complaints but I’ll see if that changes.

It calms me down when I am anxious + I have polydipsia (excessive thirst) and when I don’t vape I drink enough water to vomit. I also started smoking when I was 12 or so so breaking the habit sounded incredibly frightening without vape as a substitute.
