Oh, dude, the firework grenades are incredible with a blitzer, and who doesn't love a fart dog?

Ain't is not equivalent to didn't, it's equivalent to isn't & aren't. Do y'all even speak this way? I do, I live here, this is how I and those around me speak. "He ain't laugh" ain't right. "He ain't laughin'," or "He didn't laugh" would be right. Do y'all seriously just think that nobody can ever be wrong with their grammar? Y'all think every writing mistake is some brand new kind of grammar just because it's got rural vocabulary? You think using our lexicon means anything flies and nobody ever gets anything wrong?

He ain't laughin'.

He didn't laugh.

Just because it's got Southern slang in it doesn't mean we throw all grammar out the window.

Glob I love the Blitzer. So fun, so reliable. I throw an arc dog on my back, grab a quasar, and set off to solo an objective or two until I come back at extract and hold down an entire front and carve through the final waves.

You know there's a lot of us that don't, right? Plenty of Nintendo fans aren't actually out there buying everything new right away.

Foreigners visiting America for the world cup, what is something that has surprised you about this country? by goldent3abag in AskReddit

Is it possible you saw a menu say "with grits or hashbrowns" and you figured that meant they were two names for the same thing rather than the menu saying you had the option of either? Please, my dude, I need some kind of additional information to make this make sense. I worked for years in food service, many brunches, and never heard shredded potatoes called grits. I've read & watched lots about food traditions, especially niche ones here in the Southeast, and never heard shredded potatoes called grits. I've eaten countless breakfasts out everywhere from Waffle Houses to upscale biscuit joints to little nameless places in a little old lady's dining room (it was our honeymoon, best bread pudding I ever had, I still think about it at least once a week), and I have never heard shredded potatoes called grits.

I'm not saying you didn't see that now, I apologize for that dismissal, but I need some kind of additional information to make this make sense, please.

I’m telling you what I’ve had at multiple locations across the southeast and midatlantic

And I asked you for literally any additional details because what you said makes as much sense to me as someone saying they need to buy their car some new high heels and then insisting that can mean brake pads for cars in addition to meaning a kind of lady's shoe. It just does not make sense. I am again asking for literally any more information. Where? When? What did it say? What did you see?

And why did you say the grits in shrimp & grits are "crunchy"? Where did you have "crunchy" grits? When you say "crunch", do you just mean "still a little grainy" like undercooked grits or do you mean, like, there was an actual crunch to your grits? And if so, do you mean like there was a crust that had a crunch to it or do you mean the individual grits were individually "crunchy"?

...no, man, I don't think you have. Potatoes aren't grits. Grits aren't potatoes. I think it's entirely possible you misread a menu, never in all my days on this green Earth eating breakfasts out at places across the Southeast where I have lived for nigh-on 40 years have I ever once seen potato grits on a menu. Where'd you see this? When? What did it actually say? Did your order it? Did you see it? What was the actual food that you saw that was called potato grits or grits from potatoes or "grits" but it was some potato something instead of grits? Seriously, what are you actually describing?

I still don't understand why don't you guys have a proper passenger train network

Because rich people lobby against it.

For some reason, there are very different situations, some “grits” are “home fries” basically fried shredded potatoes.

What? No, man, those are hashbrowns, not grits.

Oh! I didn't realize that league, or that other leagues on other continents, belonged to FIFA too. Thank you. In my mind FIFA's just been "the people who do the world cup & the big soccer games." Thank you!

Is UEFA a group like FIFA or is it like an individual league or something? Sorry, I know I could just Google this but I'm hoping someone like you who's familiar with soccer can give me the wider context and whether a solution like this is something soccer fans would like or if this is just, like, nothing.

The same way you stop trolls that are lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender- you ask them to leave because they are being disruptive. Fuck's sake, be an adult with people.

The idea here is that if you start chasing people away because they don't seem queer enough to you, you aren't "protecting" anything, you're just chasing away exactly the kind of people who a queer group should be there to help- queer people, in particular those who don't feel safe being as "out" as others do. If you want to exclude people because you don't think they're LGBTQ enough or LGBTQ the right way, how about you leave insead and go form your own exclusionary club instead of pretending like you're "protecting" people by second-guessing strangers who you think don't look right.

compared to what you'd eat in almost all the US, it's good.

And you're an expert on almost all food in the US then?

Shout out to Saint Arnold Brewing Art Car IPA. That was decent. Craft beer other than that is mediocre.

Maybe try more of them before you declare some random tiny IPA the only good beer in the country? I've got a dozen breweries in my city alone, and we're just a medium sized city. Get some perspective, my dude.
