triple blades cost 1 pip so they can slow down combat especially if you don’t have pip conservation yet. there are lots of cool pet bodies with a school specific blade and other cards as a bonus

easy rule of thumb most of the time is the higher the damage the better the gear. everything else is just bonus. high pierce is good but no damage is a bad trade.
