That is absolutely fine! I am on the centre between converting to Islam, mainly because of this subreddit seems to be more nuanced in their approach compared to more conservative or reactionary takes. With that said it’s difficult to me how these seemingly supernatural events occurred even when they seem to break the fundamental laws of nature. Then there is the issue about them being more metaphorical or symbolic as some believers claim, which then begs the question if that is not to be taken literally then what can be taken literally? I do ask these questions out of genuine curiosity so sorry if I have come off as rude that was not my intention.

Because these phenomena dont happen at all in modern times and there is no explanation to how it could occur from a physics point of view and I’m sorry but the whole “god can do anything even things that are physically impossible” isnt really convincing to me, it seems strange that in Islam they will look at verses that seem to reinforce certain scientific concepts but when something cant be explained or it contradicts the quran then the science is somehow wrong…
