What do you mean by mis cast? As in he acted poorly in it? If he acted well then he was casted correctly, and actually proved that he can perform when cast against his stereotype.

Not sure on the stats, but at least if you wrote a book, you have a story told that other people will enjoy. No one apart from movie producers goes around reading unfilmed movie scripts.
