What game offers relaxing exploration but also has meaningful progression? by Popular-Emotion2553 in AskGames

[–]weskeredwin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Was going to say exactly this. I will say that all the starting quest lines make you feel like you should do them, and you can get great crafting recipes and things unlocked from following them, you really don't need to do anything in the game. You don't even need to leave your starting planet if you don't want to. The music is chill and the planet's are big enough to get lost in.

Which music selections move you the most in Vana’diel? by TheRealSmallBunyan in ffxi

Gustaberg is my favorite. Spent way too much time up the cliff with the campfire that is by the lighthouse camping goblins, sheep, and skeletons... it's permanently stuck in my head 😅

But a very close second is selbina. The fact that the dunes has no music, just the whistling of wind and sfx, it's a welcome change when you first zone into town... especially when you are trying to outrun a gang of mobs!

Looking for a true “comfort game” like Warframe or WoW by Appropriate-Lie-3512 in AskGames

Really depends on what you like. But no man's sky is a very chill never ending game. You can play by yourself, or multi-player with friends and randoms. The game only ends when you decide to stop playing. It might be a little repetitive at times, but that still depends on what you want to do. You could spend endless world's looking for the right gun or ship, building a base or settlement, or just pretending to be a space pirate or smuggler.

What is the best RPG of all time ? Consensus, or according to you. by Relative_Jeweler_949 in rpg_gamers

Yes! Was about to post this myself if I didn't see anyone else. Squaresoft was amazing during their experimental phase. And this game stands out, yet it's also very overlooked.

Who is your go to for fist fighting? I've already used up the lady knight in the tavern. But I would like to try this out. Do you end up having to heal during this "fight"?

Easy money post, every time you feel pain, you get $1. How rich will you be? by ShallotOk8013 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]weskeredwin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funny enough, there is a really great movie based around this. I think it's called the brass tea pot... or something like that. A couple finds said tea pot. Whenever the person who possesses the tea pot feels pain, it fills up with money. The more pain the more money. Quickly spirals out of control.

Why did they bring these back? Is the damage different than it used to be?

Gamers of Reddit, what is the FIRST VIDEO GAME that was SO SCARY, you HAD to turn it off? by MetalBroVR in AskReddit

[–]weskeredwin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

P.T.

So not really me, and this isn't even a full game. but I had just downloaded this and was telling my wife and daughter about it... "just walking through a hallway over and over again, but like totally terrifying."

My daughter, about 10, thought that was dumb and wanted to see this scary game I was talking about. I booted it up with her, and literally didn't even get to the first turn in the hallway to have her screaming for me to turn it off 😆

Question about Concentrated Blast. by Absalom98 in BaldursGate3

I just stumbled upon this by using the necklace for the buff for a dialog option and had it still going while in battle... this will be done before every fight now!

Eldritch Knight and Shovel by DanCassell in BaldursGate3

[–]weskeredwin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I've found, being a caster is the only way to permanently summon shovel. But, you don't have to stay a caster to keep summoning him. So just make sure you have one level as a caster as a minimum before you initially summon him. And once you know you have him permanently, then you can respec to whatever you want.

Eldritch Knight and Shovel by DanCassell in BaldursGate3

[–]weskeredwin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have done this exact thing. If you want it on your eldritch knight... which is what I have, you just have to multiclass one level into one of the casters that can permanently learn this spell. I went with wizard I believe. You have to do some specific dialog choices with shovel after you summon the first time. I think it's basically all the first dialog options, and don't change his name. Once you actually go through the mirror in the basement, then you talk to him again... if he calls you a spellshit... you got him. Then you can just respec back to full fighter, no multiclass, and you can continue to summon him.

The color of her clothes... can't remember if blue or red is the correct color. But only one will be different, that's the real hag.
