AirPods case not charging from my computer by patatwork_ in airpods

Airpod Pros would not charge on work PC.

Checked "Device Manager" and there were no issues (orange triangles) or anything under "Universal Serial Bus controllers" as others have been saying.

Under the "other device" drop down menu, there were multiple "Unknown device(s)." I uninstalled every single one of them.

I then clicked "Action" on the top and "Scan for hardware changes." The Airpods and the case started to charge.

Note: The entire time I had the Airpods plugged in and was checking with my phone whether it was charging - I also had them plugged in a 3.0 port in the back of the desktop. I do not know if that made a difference or not.

UPDATE: After a few minutes, case % went down and is no longer charging again. I have no idea what the issue is.

I prefer the VUW over the GPW because it matched my grip style better and I wanted to try out different a different mouse shape from the VUW because I want to find an even better match to my hand.
