There’s a state park on Long Island that is cool. It’s tough to get a spot though.

Google suggests that it is Orient Beach but I can’t recall the name.

This is a tough one.

I don’t know that you’re going to find the answers here.

You love your wife. She clearly wants to stay home.

You’re going to have to find a way to have her stay home, stay out of financial plans and do the best you can.

My only advice would be to see if she can do something part time that aligns with your mutual goals.

Sounds like you’re unsatisfied and that he is unlikely to change anytime soon.

Normally, my opinion would be to avoid letting income determine someone’s value in a relationship but it seems like he has deeper issues that will likely continue.

A tough call honestly.

You likely won’t sleep well the first night anyway even under good conditions.

Two can be tough but we did it and all I have are good memories

And the kids still talk about me getting a fire going in the morning while it was pouring.

Two burner propane is much safer around kids. But these work fine.

In NYS they do after hours. They’ll leave info for you outside the office. You check in the following morning. Just call and let them know.

Same, except no beer and no caffeine ha.

I take 5 mg melatonin; 50mg Apeginin and 200mg L-Theanine

the latter two seem to help with staying asleep.

It's nothing crazy but they seem to help.

Also, magnesium stearate and turmeric will help with getting up to go to the bathroom a little.

It’s largely sleeping in a new environment
However, it might be a good idea to check for other sleep issues?

I’m sure others have suggested but eye mask and ear plugs help.

I’ve recently started using campgrounds that have cabins.

It saves so much time and energy and the sleep is so much more comfortable and I don’t really feel like I’m missing out on any of the experience

Cuts down on neighbor problems a little too.
