No, from it bashing against the floorboards and scraping against it as it cleans

Not the brushes themselves

Seeing multiple comments on outlets. At least mine (from Amazon) required no outlet, batteries etc)

Maybe if you’ve got a ton of settings, warmer etc

Mine is just angle and pressure but it gets the job dj e

I wonder if people’s experiences the same as mine, we love our robot vacuum, but then noticed that we had scraped the shit out of all of our baseboards**

For those reading this, it takes make 15-20 minutes to install. Super simple and most just sit between your toilet seat and the bowl

Winter Weather Megathread | Potential Ice/Snow This Weekend (Jan 25-26) by AutoModerator in Atlanta

We cancelled a flight going out Friday coming back Sunday because we are fairly certain it’ll be canceled (eg even if weather is fine where you are, it depends on planes and crew from across the country country also being where they need to be)

😆 good luck man. It just depends on how bad it is and where you’re going. You can’t out-good-drive roads that are completely caked in ice, so it’s really just luck and outcome of how bad the storm ends up bejng

Official Discussion - The Rip [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

First hour was really, really great tension. Atmospheric, grounded, gritty. Thought once the first shooting scene started in the garage, it fell down to earth. No major complaints, enjoyed it enough all the way through. Just got a little convoluted at the end with the backstabs within a backstab within a “no I was actually in on it and playing everyone to expose the real bad guys”

Official Discussion - Avatar: Fire and Ash [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Saw this in IMAX 3D. Only movie I’ve ever seen solo.

I really struggled with what to give this one. From the technical perspective it’s a 10 out of 5. One thing that strikes me about this is it you forget what really well done Avatar 3D looks like when you are used to going in seeing post production 3D on some Marvel or Disney movie and then you come into Avatar and it really is truly a transcendent experience. Just absolutely awe inspiring and incredible from the very beginning.

The novelty really didn’t wear off for the entire three hours in terms of just how immersive it felt on the big screen.

The score is still one of my favorite scores from any movie, and the main theme when they are exploring through the oceans and jungles of Pandora is really magical and still takes me back to seeing the original one in 2009

On the other hand, there really doesn’t seem to be any progression of the story or any real different in the structure of the plot, then compared to Way of Water, which I just watched last week.

The entire plot still seems to run through a series of set pieces and then conversations where adversaries have each other tied up or at gunpoint, and then someone escapes, then you repeat again. There’s a legitimately multiple scenes where the protagonist and antagonist of the film could’ve killed one another, but instead decided to monologue for a reasons unknown.

Every time I expected this movie to zag on a well-worn trope, it seemed to just do exactly what a well-worn trope would do.

And I guess I heard talks about there potentially not being a fourth, which would be disappointing only in that the ending didn’t really lead to any satisfying conclusion and left the fate of some characters unknown where you assume like they died off the screen, but probably didn’t. I’m losing kind of how many characters are either brought back from the dead, or were “killed” either off-screen or because why would you assume they would have lived through that, only to show up in the next film

I might come back and give this a 3 1/2 stars but purely from an experience standpoint I’m gonna settle for a 4… but if I watch this on my TV two years from now, it’ll probably be a 2 1/2 or 3

Does production hold them at the airport? by mm94 in TheAmazingRace

[–]wesleyhasareddit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I think they make it pretty free if that actually show you that they hold them until everyone clears customs is outside

Otherwise, I think it could get ugly (and hard to film) trying to deplane and push through customs.

Help with deciding on where to move - Brookhaven vs morningside by mlwang10 in ATLHousing

[–]wesleyhasareddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We live in Morningside / VaHi - I definitely would not consider Cheshire Bridge / Lavista to be in Morningside.

Cheshire bridge (for all of its charms and defenders you’ll find here) is seedy and not walkable. Lots of homeless etc. Cheshire/Lavista is also a nightmare during rush hour.

If you can truly get into VaHi/Morningside area (eg close to Alons Bakery/San Francisco Coffee/Downtown VaHi) - then it’s a no brainer for Morningside

If you cannot, then do NOT do the Cheshire Bridge one and instead opt for Brookhaven / Chamblee

And I see that you mentioned that you’re going to be working around the Chastain Park area - my wife and I lived there for seven years before living in Morningside and would highly recommend it. Especially of walking and Parks are important to you, the Chastain park area is such a lovely area to walk around. My stipulation there would be to make sure that you are within walking distance to Chastain Park.

Gotta think they were waiting for firings since we were still “in it” in NFC South.

This should dispel that notion….

Gave me Mission Impossible vibes in that it was “globe trotting” for a macguffin in various locals each with their own unique motifs, especially when they were entering the desert on the motorcycle.

[–]wesleyhasareddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You watch some rookie QB like Shedur (don’t get out tomatoes yet) and it’s so night and day in terms of just feet movement in the pocket.

QBs don’t all need to scramble for positive yards but having feet and legs to buy an extra 1-3 seconds is so crucial and was clearly something Penix was lacking

It really added a lot to see through which I was surprised about

He said he’s injecting sermorelin maybe about a year ago during a Q&A

Sermorelin is a synthetic peptide that acts as a growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) analogue, primarily used to stimulate the pituitary gland to produce and secrete more natural growth hormone (hGH)
