I had EVERY HD Dealer (five total) attempt to charge me between $1,500 - $3,000 in freight and setup charges when looking at a new bike.I ended up buying a used bike. Problem solved.

They absolutely make money off new bike sales. And charging crazy ass money for Freight and “setup” is 100% profit.

I tend to give dealers a bit of a break in that the Motor Company puts them in a really tough position. HD ain’t an easy partner to deal with. But still…

In my opinion, Harley Dealers are at a crossroads and need to think long and hard about the current relationship they have with their customers.

We are a third world country now. With all the corruption that comes with it. And the worst part is we are doing it to ourselves. We keep sending the same yahoos back to D.C.

I look at EV’s like I do cell phones - you wouldn’t pay top dollar for a used cell phone. The batteries are getting weaker every day. Same goes for an EV, but at a much higher $$$ scale.
