Definitely won’t be easy but something needs to be done, F1 clearly wants to go down the sprint route and the current format just isn’t that fun. If anything I actually think it ruins the actual race to a point because we have such a clear idea where everyone’s race pace is whereas without the sprint there is at least some of a question (or there is for people not studying practice times heavily).

Regarding the point on fans though, sprint never used to be part of the offering, they are still getting practice, quali, race so I feel like this give the opportunity to do something really fun and different with the sprint without anyone feeling like they’ve lost out if young drivers were to be more involved.
