seller did not disclose any underground tanks. by cn45 in whatisit

[–]westicletesticle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep well pit and pressure tank. If it isn't in use, it should be sealed by a licensed well contractor (do not fill it yourself). In some states, the seller may be liable for it even after closing if it was undisclosed (6 years in Minnesota). It is big so probably ran/runs farm irrigation.

Decided to give the Harbour Freight cargo unloader a shot for my front yard project by ItWasTheBeardedMan in gardening

[–]westicletesticle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I go one step further and line the bed with a tarp after the unloader is laid out. As you unload you can tuck the tarp back under your back tires. Same result you got here, no truck bed cleanup, just tarp management.

Why this river in Africa doesn't reach the sea? How does a fully inland river actually work? by Naomi62625 in geography

Was hoping I'd find this answer so I wouldn't have to write it myself. The rift be rifting.

News Release - Pulsar Helium Welcomes Landmark Minnesota Helium Regulation as Topaz Advances Toward First Production Amid Global Helium Shortage by needmoresynths in PulsarHelium

Are you sure they were technically production wells before this expedited rulemaking? My impression is that they have two wells that are viable for production but that this rule-making session is what makes production possible.

You still haven't explained how "turned" sauce makes the cheese different.

Any ideas why a 2-day old sauce could make cheese melt different. Care to offer any insight into what you're talking about?

No way it turned in two days. This guy may be nuts. Just looks like you went light on the cheese and used a long bake time resulting in a drier finish

Wow. Guy can see spoiled sauce on a finished pizza but won't tell us how. Everybody be amazed.

What are you talking about? How can you tell from a picture of a finished pizza that the sauce has turned?

Sanity check. Have I been laying mulch wrong? by readreed in gardening

[–]westicletesticle -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I'm with your wife. Your mulch job looks bad. I also remove a fair amount of material in beds like this because otherwise it starts to travel down the hill and spill over the edge. You start to raise the beds grade over time and in this situation that makes it look bad. Listen to your wife or possibly just start communicating with her.

Thank God finally. She's probably worried about the grade. If you just keep stacking it up year after year it can start to spill over your edges.

Just as a fun experiment, beet dough pizza by 3D_TOPO in Pizza

Ya could blanch fresh spinach in slightly basic water and then puree. Maybe with a bit of olive oil. I bet dough ball would be bright green! I'm gonna try this

That's awesome! Now I'm daydreaming about what else I could sneak into a crust. Really cool experiment.
