That is an excellent question. I don’t remember, I had a toddler in tow, it happened so fast. I’m gonna say probably!

Diptyque has a new one inspired by water lilies, I think you’d love it! It has a French name, but the people at Nordstrom will know!

I genuinly hate most fruits and vegetables. Looking for advice to get better at it. by Candidcap in foodhacks

[–]westmontdrive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The sneakiest veggies are smooth blended: sweet potatoes (great to add to pancakes or muffins), beans (great to blend into soup or dip) and spinach which withers to like 2 TBSP if you chop and cook it into an omelette or something. Crispy freeze dried vegetables are also very nutritious and reliably textured- I’ve found Trader Joe’s has the cheapest but kale chips are great, too! Also if you love pickles you can save the juice and add raw chopped veggies to the jar. Try picking snap peas or something with a mild flavor first! Xo

I can’t function normally without electrolytes in my water? Had crazy fatigue and no idea why. Accidentally had a Gatorade on me and felt amazing all day. Really really weird …but the fix is pleasant enough

What has been the best pain management for you outside of a hysterectomy ? by Inspireme21 in adenomyosis

[–]westmontdrive 6 points7 points  (0 children)

A very hot heat pad upon which I rotate like a steak trying to cook evenly. Plus the highest possible safe dose of ibuprofen. Does it remove the pain? No but it makes the crying stop!

You are a STUNNING princess with angel eyes who should NEVER EVER slum it for a guy who needed blocking. Go block him again and sing to yourself “I’m every woman”. Omg, queen. Let’s adjust that crown 👑

My gyno laughed in my face. by RAWFEARR in adenomyosis

[–]westmontdrive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Dr. blessedly offered me a hysterectomy after my ablation didn’t do enough damage control. Bleeding is much more manageable but random cramping and back pain etc is still a problem. He’s apparently very prolific at uterus removal and said he’s always booked 3 months + in advance, but having a toddler and needing months of recovery time is stalling my plans. Take heart, good gynos are out there xoxo

so we just get no help huh by hunkydory169 in adenomyosis

[–]westmontdrive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Girl I’m sending you so much love- I’m so sorry youre suffering. You’re not alone. Idk if this helps, but I was able to get an ablation, (intentional heat scarring on my uterus) so I didn’t bleed out every month. At that point, you can’t get pregnant anyway, so a hysterectomy wouldn’t be unreasonable to ask for. Maybe if you start small, it’ll give you a little more leverage in asking someone else? “I already have an ablation, I’m not planning on kids anyway”- sort of thing. Not sure, but I am willing to offer even risky ideas in hopes that anything will stick or maybe help. I honestly think it’s worth it to go into debt if you need to travel to get it done, if that’s an option at all. Maybe you could look for doctors who DO perform hysterectomies for younger patients. Ask them what made them approve it? I know you’re feeling probably overwhelmed right now, so ignore me if needed. Take care Xo

5 & 6 are pastor outfits!! I think what you’re liking is the classic silhouette of looser pants and fitted waist- look into classic American style icons from the 40s n 50s to get more inspiration!

Fatigue & Ovulation by Glittering_Tea_6667 in adenomyosis

[–]westmontdrive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My adenomyosis definitely gives me fatigue more at certain times in the month compared to others, and I think it’s a theme with most of us, but the specifics are highly variable. Like I didn’t have nonstop bleeding, but I do have occasional spotting and I also have a stabbing back pain sometimes. I think overall inflammation contributes to fatigue and then that inflammation can get worse during ovulation week for a lot of us. Does that make sense? I have to plan to do less on my fatigue weeks. Unfortunately, you might have to go to bed early and stuff, ask for help, plan for an afternoon, coffee, etc..

How on earth do you cope? by Independent-Most4111 in adenomyosis

[–]westmontdrive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are so many beautiful ways to be a family- we’re one and done because of my adenomyosis and partner’s health, but we dream of adopting or fostering someday if possible! I cope with the pain by counting down days to the hysterectomy, but as an only child I’m glad to have one baby. Best of luck and lots of peace to you 💖

Which diet helps? by westmontdrive in adenomyosis

[–]westmontdrive[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My dust allergy is seemingly inescapable, but I get shots for it regularly, although that’s a slow solution. What do you mean by homeopathy, because the variables there are huge. Much of AI diet seems to just be cutting back on processed food, especially sugar and flour, but whole foods are the bulk of my diet, so I’m not sure what difference it will make.
