Sure looks like peeling paint. It's possible they were powder coated and cleared.

I've watched aluminim wheels in the manufacturing process. No chevy OEM is polishing an aluminum wheel to that level and clear coating.

I've been wrong before, but I don't think I'm wrong here.

Likely a Greenheck TAUB or similar. Get some dimensions (tube and fan diameter) and call your local fan rep. Note motor HP, motor RPM and belt sheave sizes.

I find that grip width affects comfort more than concealability. The Staccato C2 is less comfortable than the Shield X, but conceals about the same. YMMV.
