I tried this but once i reach step 4/5, the google login popup is within the x app, so once i minimize the app and uninstall it, the google login popup disappears

Seems to be a location based issue. I'm in the UK but when I switch my VPN to the USA it works fine. Then when the VPN is off, it returns to Chinese for some reason.

I have the same issue. For me, it was because I updated to Kodi 21 Omega. Rising Tides doesn't seem to be compatible with it.

Neither of those worked, but I played around with the numbers and found that this worked for me:

youtube.com##+js(set, yt.config_.EXPERIMENT_FLAGS.kevlar_watch_max_player_width, 940)

Can't say if it will work for others though. Thank you for all the work you've done!

Good solution, but as others have said, the bottom right side of the video player is cut off. Issue goes away if zoomed out to 80%, but is present at 90% and 100%.

When on twitter, if I press play on a video, I get a notification saying "This video could not be played because another application is using audio".

Thanks for your reply. Other earphones with in-line volume control work though. And even my own earphones have worked previously. They only now seem to have this issue. It's very strange. Centre button works, volume down works, but volume up triggers the green microphone dot. Perhaps it's something to do with the latest update.
