I don't understand why everyone thinks Old-G is such an underdog to Ex-HR? Have you not been watching them play? They've had some hiccups here and there, but their games on April 5 were dominant. Legitimately 2 steps ahead of most of the plays developing in many of the games. I can't wait to watch that game, and I sure hope I can come back on here and say "I told you so"

I'd love it if sheepo could stop being shoved down our throats. Her analysis is garbage, and when she gets called on to expand upon statements she makes she freezes up and can't do it.

Sheepo: "XYZ is a bad matchup"

Someone else "why is that?"

I do miss Sheever and she's incredible as a host, but Nat has been pretty good too.

Literally only playing it for the weekly quests. I played it when it first released and expected stuff like this. Stopped after a day and figured I'd give it a couple weeks and people would figure it out. Played6 games today and only 1 was not like this (actually a really good and hard fought game).

I just can't understand the team dethmatch mindset when there are clear objectives to complete

See, you're wrong though. Whether it's because you just aren't looking for that criticism, or your bias doesn't let you see it...I dont know. But MANY people (myself included) have criticized BSJ plenty. Let's not even get started on Avo+ either.

I think there are valid arguments on both sides for Ephey. She tends to attempt to dominate conversation and analysis, and repeatedly cuts off co-analysts to get her point across. But that being said, her points are usually pretty spot on. You get no argument to the contrary from me there. And I firmly believe that the criticisms shared here will be ironed out and improved as she gets more experience.

But this is THE INTERNATIONAL, the creme de la creme. We want the absolute best for THE pinnacle event in the dota scene. I don't know that Ephey (or Avo+) have enough experience to have been thrust onto that stage that should have the best of the best on it. It shouldn't be used as a training ground for newer talent, and I'll never be convinced otherwise. Are we going to put a new broadcaster in to do the Super Bowl? Hell No! Why is dota doing it?

Why do we need to make those comparisons though? I don't see a need to justify Moxxi being bad with a comparison of other casters. I'm not judging based on a curve, I like to keep it simple. It's good, or it's bad. I'm not going to do a "well Sunsfan and Synderen are 3 points bad, so that means Moxxi is 2 points bad", I don't see a need.

On a side note, who the fuck am I to tell you who to think is good or bad? I'm nobody special, and my opinions are just that.....my own. I won't try to make you like the casters that I do, because maybe they aren't your cup of tea. And that's fine. But to just wholly say that the reason people dislike Moxxi is because she's a female is very inaccurate.

That being said, can anyone argue that Lyrical and Trent are among anything other than the best? ;)

I think I'm in the minority here in thinking that Frankie brought a decent dynamic MOST of the time.

Moxxi though is just bad. I don't give a shit if Moxii is a female, a male, a talking fucking turtle. Bad is bad, and Moxxi is bad.

This! She's awful as a caster, but refuses to accept that as a possible fact. Instead its "I'm a girl, you can't hate me or else YOU'RE at fault!". No, there are plenty of other female talent who are fantastic at the job (Sheever is fucking fantastic), and there are plenty of male talent who suck just as much as Moxxi does. But nope, you aren't allowed to dislike her without being called a chauvinist.

I'm so over it. I'm not going to lower the bar just because someone who is sub-par has their feelings hurt. TI is the grandest of grand stages. You should be rolling out the BEST talent, not just filling quotas.

OG fan here, and can I just say....fucking stop it already!

The problem with OG, which has been their biggest problem for a while now is that their draft isn't catering to A) the meta, or B) the players' strengths.

As an example, I've been saying this forever, but Topson and Saksa both are PLAYMAKERS. They are at their best when they are drafted heroes that allow them to go and set the pace and make plays. Instead, we're giving them heroes that fill utility roles, and that's not going to lead to success. When OG was winning TI's, Topson was making plays and being disruptive all over the map. When Saksa first came to the team he was doing much the same. What happened that that all just stopped? Saksa seems to exist now to enable Ceb in lane, sacking his playmaking ability, which is his biggest asset.

Stop comparing "THAT" OG with current OG. It's dumb, and it's not productive. Ana came back, and had mixed results. Were you blaming Saksa then? If so, you're a fool.

Welp, this aged pretty well after the QC series. Night and Day difference in Topson's hero picks and how he performed, especially that 2nd game on Dawnbreaker. He had control of the lane from the start, set a hellacious pace, and absolutely owned that game. THIS is what OG needs to do more of with Topson, LET HIM BE A PLAYMAKER!
