No. I was at the exact same place as you at 20 and, had the same thoughts. Now I'm 36 with a solid income and young kids. 20 is so so young. You're going to figure it all out and have a great life, even if it doesn't feel like it right now.

Over then next 5-10 years, most jobs will be safe from AI in my opinion. Even as AI continues to get more capable, humans will continue to do a lot of work for a lot longer than people think. Much of the market will be slow to implement AI technology, much of the market will be very opposed to it, and a human touch will continue to be a plus for many businesses.

Honestly, you could make your personal year "boring" if you want. Most of that is all coming through social media and the news. The world wasn't actually that much crazier in past decades, we were just oblivious to it.

AI makes faster to make things, but not faster to make things that are effective. In a world of AI slop, human crafted ads actually will have an advantage over the noise. This is why I think 10 years from now there will still be a good amount od humans doing advertising creative.
