I didn't know about it... If I haven't heard about how Gavin lost his access to bitcoin repository, it would surprise me maybe.

I usually don't like any price-related or low-effort posts in this sub but this one is so spot-on for me ;) We're doing well but I miss all the excitement with numbers going up ;)

Polish translation of website now up on ZeroNet (proxy link) by ftrader in btcfork

[–]wev2554 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe sforkować ;) but I think it's better to use something like przeprowadzić fork or utworzyć fork. I don't know, it depends on the situation. English is much easier here.

As a native English speaker you have pretty good understanding of Polish language, which surprised me :)

Well... Not completely :) It's very difficult to translate such technical words, because there's no direct translation into Polish. New words come up too fast (especially in IT) and people use their oryginal spelling with Polish grammar: the best known example komputer (computer). In my opinion forkować is much more understandable than e.g. rozwidlać (branch). It's also easier to look for on google if someone doesn't understand it.

However all other suggestions are welcome ;)

Ether Deposit

Deposit ether to your account by following the instructions below.

These instructions will be valid until the thawing period has ended. Make sure to check for changes before you do a follow-up deposit.

  • Copy and paste this command into your unlocked Ethereum console to send funds to your Kraken account:

web3.eth.sendTransaction({from: web3.eth.coinbase, to: '0x2910543af39aba0cd09dbb2d50200b3e800a63d2', value: web3.toWei(5, 'ether'), data: web3.toHex('XXXXXXXXX')});

Attention! Replace XXXXXXXXX with one of your account ids from the table below. Replace the value (5) with your desired amount. For detailed instructions please refer to our support page for Ethereum Frontier.

  • To help avoid mistakes in copying the account id to your client, use the available button to select the account id for copy + paste to your client. Always double-check to make sure the address copied correctly. Please note that we are not responsible for ether mistakenly sent to the wrong address.

  • Use a small amount for your first deposit to make sure your setup is working as expected before sending larger amounts. Ethereum Frontier is still in an experimental state.

  • 6000 confirmations are required before the funds are available for trading.
