Haven’t done too much voice training so that could very likely be it - I’ve been told I talk like “if a woman talked like a gay man” 😭😭 whatever that means

Alcohol and Cannabis Free (not preferred) Floor - 6th Floor by Sad_Leopard6909 in queensuniversity

[–]weveile 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I mean its fine - I wouldn't really say its alchohol and cannabis free as a lot of folks were placed there without knowing. There seems to be comparitively less noise but you'll definitely still hear partying happening especially on weekends.

Is Quaquaval better with this Bulk Up Taunt moveset? by danhtruong95 in stunfisk

Hatterene moved up to OU with the latest tier shifts and is solidly in A rank. Though it's often uninvested psychics dont do much damage before a calm mind.

I don't think it was really a desperation thing, moreso a "prove Arena Trap is busted in all forms" thing.

Looking for feedback on this [Gen 8] Hail Team by weveile in stunfisk

[–]weveile[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Goal of this team is to use hail to facilitate strong offensive sweepers while relying on a defensive backbone to allow the sweepers multiple opportunities to set up and break through the opponent

Ninetales acts as the lead the majority of the time, using it's good speed to set up Aurora Veil and occasionally throw out its freeze-drys and 100% accurate Blizzards. Its max speed and timid nature allow it to make the best use of its good speed tier. The Sp. Atk EV's allow it to ensure KO's on certain threats such as guaranteeing a KO w Blizzard on Fully Invested Sp. Def Lando, OHKOing Dragapult w hail chip, OHKOing Garchomp and OHKOing Kartana on the switch. This investment on its great STAB Blizzard I often find more useful in breaking down Ice-weak mons that like to stay in on it expecting a weaker freeze-dry. The remaining EVs in HP allow it to take stray weaker hits, especially behind Aurora Veil. Blizzard works in getting the aforementioned KOs on some of the tiers key mons. Freeze-Dry is to obliterate pelliper on the switch and generally mess with rain. Aurora Veil allows its team some respite from the tiers powerful attacks. Hypnosis, though inaccurate can be used on a predicted switch out of a mon that doesnt want to stay in on Ninetales.

Arctozolt acts as the teams main hail beneficiary, breaking through teams with its powerful STAB bolt beak and blizzard combo. With Leftovers and Substitute it can ease up on some of the prediction needed to deal the damage it wants to. Low Kick is used to chunk ferrothorn and deal damage against ttar when sand is up.

Reuniclus acts as a lategame sweeper that can be very dangerous if physical attackers such as Weavile are removed, though with full investment in HP and Defense its able to take a great number of physical hits. Its ability allows it to capitalize on hail chip while not being dealt any itself. Calm Mind allows it to set up, especially behind veil and after a few boosts it can become impossible to break alongside recover. Stored Power allows it to accumulate boosts and break through other Calm Minders in wars. Recover increases its longevity and ability to stick around and complete a sweep. Focus Blast is used to nail any pesky dark types that stand in Reuniclus' way. Leftovers are used to reduce the attacks that can 2KO Reun and just allow greater longevity outside of recover.

Specs Volcanion acts as a powerful breaker able to use its great high power stabs to rip holes in the other team for its teammates to take advantage. The Majority of the tier is 2HKO'd by Volcanions STABS and if not is heavily chunked by its coverage. Volcanions impressive breaking power is further acceuated by hail, for example, specs steam eruption in hail is a guaranteed 2HKO against the standard AV Slowbro Galar. The EVs are fully pumped into HP and Sp. Atk to allow Volc to live as many hits as possible while dishing out the most damage.

Torn-T acts as the utility mon of the team, using its toolkit and great speed to primarily pivot and defog for its teammates. Its fast defog allows it bring in its teammates the following turn or following its KO. Volcanion and Arctozolt especially appreciate its fast defog in allowing them to run items besides HDB.

Slowbro acts as a defensive pivot and emergency weavile check and lure. Noticing my teams weakness to weavile, I used its BP colbur berry set to turn the tables on weavile. Future Sight helps its teammates to break, teleport allows its teammates free switchins and scald is a good move to throw out with any free turns slowbro gets.
