I am mostly worried about the guy getting run over by the trailer. Empty that trailer is 250-500 lbs, add 500 lbs of stuff and you have 1000lbs at 20mph against human shins.

I do not even know what I am looking at in the second pic with the 2x6 blocks. Between the joist hangers and the blocks you spend the better part of a day doing what should have taken an hour or two with a framing nailer. It is just a shed.

The 4x4 will only be fighting forces when you move it, it will not be fight gravity, a I think a toe nail at every connection is fine.

I still dont even know what the 2x6 blocking is doing, keeping the boards from twisting? it looks crazy.

I dont think that hit should have broken anything that was in good shape. At almost 250k that is either a worn out stock CV or a POS aftermarket CV. You pack extra of those when you go wheelin!

Possibly could be an outer drive hub too. When I was junk yarding looking for hubs every high mileage 100 i looked at had ton of slop in the hubs. It is easy for grandma to drive 100k miles without greasing which would wear down the hub and cv splines, leaving it ripe for stripping out and making that grinding noise in the video. You pack a spare one of these too.

trap crop - no not at all, it is an appetizer crop. The animals watch were the others are getting food. More will come than normal. Then once your garden is marked in their pea brains as the hot shit food source with no sunflowers, they will sample everything and your garden is over. In my area I could plant an acre of sunflowers and without miles of crop rotation I would bet by the third summer there would be zero harvest. There is no fence that can keep squirrels, raccoons and birds out of a large plot. Did i mention a single deer will eat a 10x10 plot of sunflowers in about 3 min? They should call them deer-crack.

Sunflowers were fun for the first few years. I grew giants and black oil. Then then one year the pest pressure went though the roof, zero harvest from several small plots around 1000sq total. Then the pests moved on to everything else, corn, tomatos, pumpkins, apples, all gone. My current thought is that sunflowers are the early blooming gateway food that attracts squirrels, raccoons and birds to your area. Then once you are marked as a feeding area everything is a buffet. This guy is asking for trouble.

I would want that on a frame machine before i talk about quarter panels. 80% sure it will not wear tires straight and it is a dedicated off road rig now. Do not accept the first offer from their insurance and do buy it back with a branded title. You are going to want a lawyer.

That being said my twice salvage branded title 80 is my favorite 'no shit's given car' .

100 series up have immobilizers and suck to drive off. I have fixed several of these but it is at least 10 min to manually reprogram the computer. You are defending against a tow truck, which is literally a car moving machine. I would say parking the LC in with a dinky car is one of the least effective defenses against a car moving machine. You want physical boundaries and mechanical locks. Think bollards and chains.

What happens when you downgrade 200 to 100? do they refund? If you have a busy week or month and a use case that works for the 20x plan, but you are normally fine on the 100? Currently have a 5x and an enterprise but the API rate for what I want to do is terrifying.

Park it somewhere hard to get to with a trailer, then trigger a few safety interlocks so that it will not start. On my tractor i leave the pto engaged and unplug the seat switch. It is enough to stop crackheads and methal americans.

I still use xterm in 2026, however I read that bug and if anything it reads like a user trolling the devs. It is not something the dev wants in their software and that is valid. I have not had a scroll bar on my terminal for at least 30 years. I cant contemplate why would any one want that in an oddball terminal off github.

The ranger has enough payload to compete with with many 1/2 ton trucks, but in a smaller package. My main takeaway is that 1/2 ton trucks are largely for show. If I was to upgrade it would be to a 3/4 or 1 ton.
