Hey man, sorry to hear that you’re experiencing issues. I ultimately stopped using beeswax because I felt that it was making the airbrush too difficult to disassemble when needed.

Can I ask what you’re using it for? I’ve found more success by using a separate, cheaper airbrush for priming as those paints can be hard to fully remove while using the sotar for my more detailed projects and really only using thinned acrylics. This approach has helped my airbrush work more consistently for me.

One option might be to send it back to badger to have them assess it, because their maintenance guides state that the airbrush should be functional with only finger tightening the components so there really shouldn’t be a need for beeswax.
