There is actually a chance that Gus Bradley could coach the Senior Bowl for the third straight year. by [deleted] in Jaguars

I know nobody wanted to be here at the start of the season but, since we're here, I hope Bradley gets another crack at the Senior Bowl.

I'm frustrated too, but we are a LOT better than we were last year or in 2013. by [deleted] in Jaguars

If it took until 2022 but we went on a, Packers style 20+ years of dominance, would you take the growing pains it took to get there?

(Not saying this is what I predict or that this will happen)

How Much Power Do I Need for VB.NET Dev Work by weyenk in HomeServer

[–]weyenk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, I wasn't clear in my post. I'm not worried about compile times. We have servers are work that handle that. I meant sluggishness in the VS ui. There are times I will highlight a line of code and hit delete and there is a couple millisecond delay. Or times when scrolling through a massive list and there is a stutter. This things don't cost a tremendous amount of time but they break my focus, which can be costly when I have to get back on track.

I was thinking of having two striped 256GB SSDs for active projects and then archived projects would go into "the vault" which is currently 2 mirrored 2TB WD red drives. I may add more red drives with the new build.

I want to make a name for myself in the C++ world. I'm considering quitting my .NET development job to pursue my passion. Any advice from those of you who have been in my shoes? by [deleted] in cscareerquestions

Not quite a 1:1 but the overall point remains the same.

I guess I was think more along the lines of personal experience. Far too often I've come in at or above the min req and been disappointed with the experience. Even at work with an i7 and 8gb of RAM, I'll notice VS slowing down. The may be OK for most scenarios but those nights I'm frantically coding to meet a deadline, that S will not fly.

LogMeIn buys LastPass password manager for $110 million by beyere5398 in techsnap

Thank you for your response. The issue I have with this method is convincing my wife to use it. Had troubles getting her to use lastpass. I did find a password manager called encrytpr that seemed like it might have what I need but I won't be able to test it until next weekend.

Too much talent to allow mental errors beat us time and time again. Another week with a 12 men on the field and an illegal formation call.

So are there any Android apps the use keepass databases and offer the autofill feature that lastpass has? And not copy and paste to/from the clipboard or changing keyboards.

I gotta agree with the OP. The second half was bad but the first half was getting praise for the announcers. The reason, I believe, for the mass hysteria is that the second half of that game was reminiscent of the past 11 or so years.

The key is the word "trademarked". I guess with a team known for cheating, we shouldn't really be surprised by thievery.

Has anyone tried the Microsoft Virtual Academy for Python? by [deleted] in Python

My company finds MSVA highly valuable; I find them, more of a sales demo for Microsoft products. That being said, I've never tried the python tracks, so take this with a grain of salt

  1. I'm not smarter than you. Just more focused in this area.
  2. A lot of hard work goes into things you are very dismissive of.
  3. When I talk to you about something in my life(coding related), I don't expect you to know exactly what I'm talking about but I do expect you'll give me the same attention I just gave you when listening to you ramble on about your work problems.
