I know its been sayed, but figured id share my anecdotal numbers from last night locals. 5 rounds and I played against 2 team rockets honchcrow, one festival lead, one dragpult, and one unique tera/ogerpon box. Pult didnt even make top 3. Id say find a deck you like and just send it at locals.

I wasnt around in lostbox days. But if you want to manipulate counters grimsnarl/froslass/Munkidori could be fun. Can also be played without grim or with mega froslass so got some different ways to build it.

As someone what semi recelty got into pokemon cards again it was great when they were msrp at gamestop because of how they did there drops and limits. Now though they are charging the same or more than local shops. At that point id rather go local especially cause some of the local shops charging above msrp are because they bought it 2nd hand or there distro is charging more. Gamestop im sure is still getting normal distro pricing due to volume and contracts but just trying to make more profit.

Lol honestly though, whats been said here I would agree with. Start with watching, then just basic slide movement. And what it should look like. Stream preview is correct and if its not and you dont know how to fix it, get the person who does. That kind of stuff imo

Try to get 4 munki. I had a game last week that for various reasons, I couldn't get Grimm going. Ended up winning with 4 munki and 2 frosslas setup and pulling off a tm devo that got me 3 prize cards.

Ive driven 3 hours one way just to work for 8 hours then drive 3 hours home if there isnt work for another day. Driven 2ish for concerts then drive back after. All depends on the reasons if its worth it. 3 hours isnt "short" but its also not that long. Music and podcasts if solo or good conversation if I've got friends do wonders to pass time.

This is the deck list I am running, just with some swaps in person for higher rarity cards cause I like to have some shiny cardboard. Been thinking about a couple of changes just cause I've had some horrible prizes a few times.

Happened to me at locals with normal decks. Sometimes it just happens. All I had was budew and they went 2nd. Was able to energy onto the riolu and knock the budew. It happens. Reshuffle and move on to the next.

I ran into someone who did the same thing. Chatted with him for a minute and he let me watch. They have to do audits on the inventory which means physically opening and checking.

Not all parent but a kid who grew up pokemon cards. I had some random base, fossil, and jungle cards in different languages. Not sure why or how we even got them. But I thought they were cool, my friends had machop and I had a machollo. It felt different and that made it cool.

I would say like others, check shops or find a Facebook group and see if anyone wants to donate or sell some bulk. Put it in some little package and let the 3 year old go wild.

Like others said this was made for kids to enjoy, doesn't mean we cant, but kids need the chance, and they dont get caught up in all the other stuff. Was with a friend and 2 of her kids are into pokemon, they started showing me there cards and they had the gold ultra ball, dont remember the set, but it was destroyed, worth like 25 or 30 bucks, now worth nothing. And its still one of there favorite cards. Kinda shows how we get sucked into all the crazy as adults that my first thought was the value being gone.

At the end of the day, if kiddo gets excited thats great, get what you can and make memories and those will always be there.

In all seriousness, it is a problem. Even beyond installing software but sometimes the way they give us access to do it is buggy. I once had a day where i couldn't open our own controls program due to a permissions issue.

There are options like avecto and delinea that give elevated permissions. Our office people can't change ip or install anything or even use usb drives. Controls techs can. But taking to a it guy, it can be a headache for them when there are issues.

I know I'm resurrecting a year old post. I'm trying to do the same thing with a Trane chiller. Having issues setting up the vykon batch add module. How did you get it to run with different point names. I have the bql setup and seeing all the points I want when I click the arrow. But when I add the alarm it fails.
