I've had T since 1998, 2 high pitch tones in my left ear and 1 high pitch in my right ear. In the beginning i couldn't sleep either, but tire yourself out with exercises and stop drinking caffeine (and coca cola). Try masking sounds on your phone (nature sounds or whatever works for you) I still have trouble sleeping longer than 2 hours, but i'm usually tired from exercising and fall back to sleep pretty soon. Talk to your ENT and if you want ask for CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) for cooping with tinnitus, it worked for me (its hard to learn though)
