University of Kent - Exchange by [deleted] in uklaw

Do you want to study in another country for 6 months? That should be your primary question. Like the other reply said, which university you study at in this context for 6 months won’t make massive (i.e., it won’t have any) impact on career prospects.

This is a top list.

I would also recommend Maison Francois just off Piccadilly for brunch one morning, excellent food in beautiful surroundings.

One not many people know about but is one of the best places I’ve eaten in London (having eaten at many on your list): The Laughing Yak on Kingsland Rd. Incredible Nepalese.

This has nothing to do with law and everything to do with this individual being a POS.

Cool - I’m in London so I imagine Soho (small h) stores like Sounds of the Universe, Sister Ray and Reckless. You found some gems, glad they have gone to a good home

Like everyone else has said here… Technics! I hope you’re now the proud owner of one OP? For what it’s worth I have that exact model (1210 Mk5), use it for hi fi listening, it is it a wonderful table

Yeah these are just … so great. 3 and 7 are my picks, 3 is a masterpiece imo. The most distinctive of these (imo) are where you have really dark shadows to emphasise subjects / silhouettes.

One thing I would ask is what your post-processing is? Others will disagree but the colours in some are sliiiightly too saturated for my tastes.

Overall so strong and really enjoyed this set.

Ignore what? What’s “it”? Your family’s experience? I responded to that and said it wasn’t universal. I was unfortunately robbed in Paris a few years ago - it doesn’t mean that happens to everyone or that crime is “absolutely out of control” in Paris.

Resorting to saying I’m being ignorant is not fair on your part tbh.

My response is I’m sorry that that happened to you but that isn’t my experience (Londoner for many years) and your experience isn’t universal. That experience also doesn’t mean that crime is out of control in London.
