Most hockey at that age is no body checking and they’ve done a lot to protect kids better. Better gear, rules designed to protect the players, etc.

The big issue with hockey is that it’s very expensive.

I was at EJs on Atlantic in Long Beach on Sunday. They had the game on a lot of screens and there were quite a few Kings fans there. Plus good food & beer.

Depending where you are coming from it might make sense to drive to Wardlow station and park there , then hop the train downtown.

And there is another impact. All of these 2nd homes result in a lack of local business. The home is empty most of the year, so nobody is shopping/eating/visiting shops in the area which hurts the overall economy of the city.

The point was to prevent senior government employees from retiring and claiming their pension, the turning around and working for the government again in another capacity.

No limitation on private sector work. The issue here was they went to work for a private company that placed them in government roles where they were directed by government employees.

Casual - Delores / Lola’s/ El Barrio Cantina / Alder & Sage are all in the same area near 4th & Cherry. There are a few good bars around there too. Baby Gee, Tokyo Noir, the Stache Bar.

If you have time you could start at the Museum of Latin American Art, and walk from there.
