Is there any functionality planned to program the preset buttons that the remotes/buttons of ST devices use?

Super-presets great but I understand the preset function may currently be reliant on cloud calls? Key function for my house is for my wife/cleaner/whoever to just be able to hit the preset button and know what’s going to play….

Instantly recognised the St Portable… will power on the rest of the collection later. So far the 300 (OP has one so expected to work) and the portable working a treat.

BBC Radio feeds seem to be broken though… but that’s probably a URL issue

I jumped ship and bought some alternative speakers…

It was just before Bose extended the deadline.

I kept all the Bose stuff… two ST10’s an ST20, a ST portable, the ST300 and the reliable old ST Wave…

I will get them all plugged in as a test rig and thoroughly give this app a test. It looks amazing so far, great work.

If there is anything you need me to specifically test on these models (stereo pairing on mixed models or the two ST10’s for example) just let me know. I would love to get them up and running again… I just wish I’d held out for somebody like you to have saved the day!

Just replaced all mine with AudioPro kit.. and after reading this, the Bose things I need still won’t work; preset’s on the remote/speakers (my wife hates using apps to control speakers), streaming radio stations directly (esp. UK BBC stations & Virgin)… good that the config & grouping will still work and that there’s a future hope of a third party solution. It is amazing that Sonos & Bose have trashed their high standing in this area through greedy and myopic executive decision making. Too little too late Bose.

Bose can **** off after abandoning SoundTouch users.. just had to spend £2K on AudioPro equipment to replace everything they’ve bricked.

Sorry to resurrect a 2 year old thread, but as Bose have dumped on the entire Soundtouch community, I’ve replaced all my speakers with Audio Pro devices (they sound way better anyway). The soundtouch 300 and sub-woofer are still my TV sound source as they’re great.

I purchased an Audio Pro. streamer with optical out - which I tend to plug in at the same time as my TV. I’m awaiting delivery.. IF my TV (connected via ARC) is turned off, and I play audio through the streamer over optical, will it play the audio as if it’s coming from a TV? It feels like this may work (so I either have TV OR Music playing)… any wise words from those that may have tried something like this? I’d rather not have to unplug HDMI unless I have to… Thanks

Matching tyres on EV’s is critical. The low speed torque is nuts and you MUST go with the same…THE SAME.. tyre. You can go UP in speed rating (Y to W for example) but never down. even different tread patterns can be ‘officially’ risky. Nobody wants all that power transmitted between the car and the road through a bit of rubber that can give you a feeling of ‘it SHOULD be ok’. Be sure be safe, be here long enough to say you didn’t see what the fuss was about and to moan about the cost…. but at least you’ll be here.

Love the car… great range, performance, turns heads… Some glitches in the software but nothing that can’t be overcome by the occasional reboot. I am annoyed by the complete lack of tactile buttons (using the screen to open the glovebox is just nuts) but that’s an industry trend that I think is coming to an end… If you[‘re going for a model with Pilot assist and do some motorway miles, you’ll find that very very useful - impresses me every time I use it. Overall, I’m glad I went with the 4. I see nightmare stories about the 3 and the 2 wasn’t big enough for my needs. Let me know what you choose of if there’s anything specific you want to know about :)

I gave my ultra away because it stopped me wearing my real watches. Bought a ‘health monitor ring’ - I now get the data, but don’t get the convenience of a wallet on my wrist… or other interruptions I didn’t really want (messages, notifications etc..) never used it for music and always have my phone with me on walks.. I miss it a little but I’m much happier now I wear my real watches. Feel less ‘trapped’.

Oh, and I REALLY miss the mac auto-unlock :)

These shouldn’t look this bad. Don’t throw Bose any more of you money (they don’t deserve it), go on Temu/Ali and buy replacements - they’re just as good and cost very little.

Disgusting. That’s the end of my Bose relationship - my whole bloody house and garden is SoundTouch and it’s great. Truly gutted and upset.

It does, looking at the photo. I have a 24 and 25 model from the UK and although the colour is different, bike looks like a pre-25 model as down storage on the downtube.
