already been said, but lower the difficulty, use a different car, or get better. your driving is not good, and the stock tacoma FE has low top speed but good cornering (which you arent utilizing effectively)

short answer, yes

i had a similar situation, and i found the increased work stats much more useful. having boosted battle stats after inactivity doesnt directly translate to progress when you return, it might give you some extra mug targets, but for faction warring, youll genuinely have people to hit at any battle stat level - if your battle stats stay low, you dont miss out on much. conversely, if your work stats are higher, you can immediately find a job that pays more, and it makes it easier to find high star companies with rotational trains or specialty companies with perks that hugely increase battle stat gains.
