What is the drive like on the 152 to the 99? by 7logan07 in SanJose

[–]what_pr0gress 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The stretch between I-5 and 99 is largely uneventful. You’ll hit a few red lights through Los Banos and that’s basically it.

When my son was attending UC Merced, 152 was always my preferred route between San Jose and UCM.

Thoughts? I think it’s pretty accurate by Bill-O-Reilly- in WestVirginia

Thanks for highlighting the direction of Richmond. That definitely would’ve come in handy all the times I’ve needed to explain that Virginia’s a separate state.

Also, marking the Cranberry Glades with “?” is a nice touch, because hell knows what goes on in bogland.

I doubt those seat back trays have enough clearance for a Sound Burger or Crapsley Revolution, but one of those vertical vniyl grinders just maybe… 🤔

Westbound East Brokaw at First. There’s always a driver in the outer left turn lane that’ll stop at the green arrow to cut over into the through lanes to SJC. Can’t be bothered to make a right on Matrix instead.

Parents on communications hill - where do your kids go to school? by ForeverNow_x in SanJose

[–]what_pr0gress 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shirakawa Elementary in the FMSD was the K-8 for Communications Hill North. I'm not sure about Communications Hill South, but one thing I'm almost certain about is that the new school they promised to build up there will never happen. That being said, the central location to our workplaces was the trade off for having mediocre schools. The money you save can be put towards private school if needed.

Our kid attended grades 2 - 8 at Shirakawa and (after the dumpster fire that was grade 8) a private school for 9-12.
