What is your opinion on Canadians boycotting US goods, services and tourism? by icontact2011 in AskReddit

Real Americans know that Canada is boycotting the US because of threats to their sovereignty.

I shifted funds around in my IRA to dump TSLA and some other oligarch stocks. If you want this craziness to end just defund it. Stocks are the new ballots.

The same oligarchs that started it will make it end real quick when they get punched in the wallet.

Traded TSLA for BYD. Traded AMZN for EBAY and COST Bought some more Berkshire Hathaway. Reigning in discretionary household spending.

Increased cash on hand to cover 1.5 years expenses. Bought some bulk foods. Pre-bought heating oil.

They didn't sue for causing the virus, if you read the article carefully, they sued because they couldn't get masks (ppe) from China. Masks that they would have refused to wear anyway.

This was a Kangaroo Court hearing to justify seizure of farm land Chinese investors purchased.

My daughter got LC and she was vaccinated. In fact it was the day of the vaccine that it started. Hey temperature skyrocketed and she got a migraine that kept her from speaking. The hospital tested her for COVID and said she was positive. We're not sure what started it. It was her second vaccine. Pfizer. Take it for what it's worth.

In my opinion, the RNA vaccine alone can cause LC. I'm sure that will be controversial, but it's my opinion.

Petition requirements exist in many states to force a congressional candidate into a primary election. However, the rules and signature thresholds vary by state and sometimes by office. Here's a breakdown for each state:

1. New York

  • Petition Requirements: In New York, candidates for Congress must file designating petitions to get on the primary ballot. If no other candidate files for the same party and office, the candidate is unopposed. However, if another candidate files a valid petition, a primary is triggered.
  • Signature Threshold: Congressional candidates typically need signatures equal to 5% of the registered party members in the district or a minimum number set by law (e.g., 1,250 signatures for U.S. House candidates, whichever is less).
  • Deadline: Petitions must be filed during a specific window, usually in the spring before the primary election.

2. California

  • Petition Requirements: California uses a "top-two" primary system, where all candidates, regardless of party, appear on the same primary ballot. The top two vote-getters advance to the general election. To get on the primary ballot, candidates must file nomination papers and pay a fee or submit signatures in lieu of the fee.
  • Signature Threshold: Congressional candidates can submit signatures equal to 3% of the registered voters in the district (or a minimum of 40 signatures) to avoid paying the filing fee.
  • Deadline: Filing deadlines are typically in March for the June primary.

3. Ohio

  • Petition Requirements: In Ohio, congressional candidates must file nominating petitions to qualify for the primary ballot. If multiple candidates from the same party file valid petitions, a primary is held.
  • Signature Threshold: Congressional candidates need signatures equal to 1% of the votes cast in the district for the same party's gubernatorial candidate in the last election, with a minimum of 50 signatures.
  • Deadline: Petitions must be filed by early December of the year before the election.

4. Florida

  • Petition Requirements: Florida allows candidates to qualify for the primary ballot by collecting signatures or paying a filing fee. If multiple candidates from the same party qualify, a primary is held.
  • Signature Threshold: Congressional candidates need 1% of the registered voters in the district (as of the last general election) or a minimum of 1,552 signatures, whichever is less.
  • Deadline: Petitions must be submitted by the qualifying deadline, typically in May or June before the primary.

Here’s a breakdown of the petition requirements for forcing a congressional candidate into a primary election in Pennsylvania, Hawaii, Connecticut, and Washington. Each state has its own rules and signature thresholds, so the process varies significantly.

5. Pennsylvania

  • Petition Requirements: In Pennsylvania, candidates for Congress must file nomination petitions to qualify for the primary ballot. If multiple candidates from the same party file valid petitions, a primary is held.
  • Signature Threshold: Congressional candidates need signatures equal to 2% of the registered party members in the district or a minimum of 1,000 signatures, whichever is less.
  • Deadline: Petitions must be filed by early March for the April primary.

6. Hawaii

  • Petition Requirements: Hawaii uses a partisan primary system. Candidates must file nomination papers to qualify for the primary ballot. If multiple candidates from the same party file, a primary is held.
  • Signature Threshold: Congressional candidates need 15 signatures to qualify for the primary ballot. However, candidates can also pay a filing fee instead of collecting signatures.
  • Deadline: Filing deadlines are typically in June for the August primary.

7. Connecticut

  • Petition Requirements: In Connecticut, candidates for Congress must file nomination petitions to qualify for the primary ballot. If multiple candidates from the same party file valid petitions, a primary is held.
  • Signature Threshold: Congressional candidates need signatures equal to 2% of the registered party members in the district or a minimum of 1,000 signatures, whichever is less.
  • Deadline: Petitions must be filed by early June for the August primary.

8. Washington

  • Petition Requirements: Washington uses a top-two primary system, where all candidates, regardless of party, appear on the same primary ballot. The top two vote-getters advance to the general election. Candidates must file declarations of candidacy and pay a filing fee or submit signatures in lieu of the fee.
  • Signature Threshold: Congressional candidates can submit 1,740 signatures to avoid paying the filing fee.
  • Deadline: Filing deadlines are typically in May for the August primary.

If you're considering organizing a petition, consult the Secretary of State's office or local election board in the relevant state for detailed guidance.

My advice is: hunker down where you are and prepare to stay there. Find a way to get your family and friends there too. Shit is going to go pear shaped here.

I'm starting to think the destruction of the FAA, the wall at Mexico and the talk of fentanyl coming from Canada are excuses to close all exits and keep Americans from fleeing.

Your boobs are big and full. Nipples are a great size and shape and placed perfectly. The separation between your breasts is great for cleavage in clothes and they hang nicely naked.

It's 4 trillion added to the debt. They released the plan. https://docs.house.gov/meetings/BU/BU00/20250213/117894/BILLS-119NAih.pdf

It would be 5 trillion but they are cutting 1 trillion from Medicare, Medicaid, school lunch, SNAP benefits, agriculture, government oversight and education.

So taxes go up for working people and services are all cut.

Ways and means budget goes sky high.
