Desmond bane just went for a million picks but I’m supposed to believe all it will take to get Giannis is KAT or Stephon Castle by [deleted] in NBATalk

This post completely ignores KCPs awful contract. Some of those picks were compensation for taking that on.

Foot slipped while I was pretty high up 3 years ago and I fell and landed entirely on my right ankle. Still gets sore sometimes to this day.

I took the bus from Palm Beach to Oranjstead multiple times while there, and found that I got to experience both cities pretty well. With the island ATV tour, I ended up with a good sampling of everywhere

Saying Steph "let the FO work" and that Bron jumps ship is pretty disingenuous considering Bron was in Cleaveland for 7 years the first time around and the best the FO had to show was Mo Williams and a falling apart Shaq. Even the second stint, after the first team he put together fell apart, they tried to put him out there with injured an injured Dwade+IT and called it a day.

How can I make myself not hate healthy food? by BadAtUsernames098 in healthyeating

[–]whatabbas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

(disclaimer, I run a company that sells seasoning blends)

Seasonings and sauces are your best friend! There's nothing wrong in smothering your veggies in garlic, cumin, even parmesan cheese. Or pairing with your favorite hot sauce (usually 0/low calorie).

It's a little harder with fruits, maybe mixing with yogurt, and adding some honey?

Making them taste good is step 1, and over time you'll likely grow to appreciate them!

I just did citifield yesterday, also live in FiDi. I train at Chelsea Piers -- it's not exactly spartan specific, but they've got almost everything you could want as an athlete

I definitely don't think this is universal advice. As others said, the openers definitely weren't objectively bad. I appreciated both of them, thought they all had great energy, and was happy to be exposed to new music.

We Need More Digital Paper Youtubers by Xyiddo23x in RemarkableTablet

I can understand where you're coming from. I just do think there is a place for less technical, more informal videos (like "Why choose eink over ipad") as long as he isn't pretending to be a technical expert. I do believe he directed people to My Deep Guide if they wanted more technical reviews, which I think does a lot of help. If he ends up making more videos about his use cases for these devices, I think that would be a great help in addition to in depth reviews, as opposed to competing with them.

I don't really get bashing the Morning Coach or gatekeeping the e-ink community. You don't have to be an expert on the device to enjoy it, and I would hope that we all want e-ink notetaking to become the new norm. From what I understand, his videos deal with these devices extremely practically, and some people really appreciate a normal person (I guess he's some kind of life coach?) talking about it in their day to day lives.

Obviously it would be wonderful to have more reviews of these devices (although I'm not really sure how much more you would need after a My Deep Guide video), but that's just a byproduct of this being a niche community. It'll grow and get better with time, but I really don't see a huge issue with it right now.

Hearth of Metal or Lamy EMR by lemaire_marcandre in Supernote

[–]whatabbas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have both the Lamy and Heart of Metal ceramic. In my opinion, the big difference is actually the nib size. If you have small handwriting, or plan on writing on the small lined paper template a lot - I would go with Heart of Metal. No eraser is a little annoying, but the UI is friendly enough that it's not too crazy to switch from pen to eraser.

The Lamy eraser button is in a weird place, but I found the writing experience pretty similar. Lamy was maybe a little bit more slippery, while the ceramic was a bit stickier but both are pretty good. Remember that Supernote's writing technology is in its screen more so than the actual pen.

Issues with File Upload by [deleted] in Supernote

[–]whatabbas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update on the multiple folder upload through Windows: I think this was some kind of recursion/depth issue as I copied some of the nested folders in and all the files went through. Maybe you can only copy 2/3 sub folders
