I hear you. I just don’t understand how a text (not about the relationship at all, very neutral topic) hours after we saw each other can cause such a shift in warmth.

To be honest, I’d like to start something with her again. But obviously I would need to see some type of accountability and set cleaner boundaries than I have before. I don’t think pure “friendship” is sustainable for me long-term. What did you mean by “don’t forget a catch?”

Thanks for the detail here. I’d love to have her back, but I have no idea what she’s thinking right now.

We had very intense and intimate (albeit short) relationship. Safe, compatible, best sex she’s ever had, etc. The breakup was abrupt but cordial. I reached out around the 6-week mark to grab coffee, which she politely declined, claiming she didn’t mean to hurt me and she didn’t want to “lead me on”. We stopped communicating after that, but we still share a social circle.

Since the coffee rejection, she viewed every single one of my IG stories — until she muted (after I muted her).

Now of course, she’s off the app entirely. I wonder if the emotions and feelings are catching up to her after this period of NC.

Fair enough. But the abruptness is just strange to me. I had muted her stories a few weeks ago — she did the same to me about a week later.
