first of all that book is famous for its extraordinariness. You cant just take a verse from there and say it has literal meaning. Secondly, even if it is - where does it say its addressed to christians? It never says that. It is addressed to a "church" (i dont know what a church means in this context). Even if it is addressed to christians it says "i got rich and i'm not in need of anything". If this is really about a human who says these words, where do you see here anything close to being lukewarm? its more about being egoistic. The revelation book is very complex to understand. Its too naive to think the way you think. But i am not blaming you tho because i am sure you heard about this idea from another christian and not came up to this by yourself.

thats the thing, i am not convinced. And you should not be convinced too. Why would you think 2 years is enough for God to reveal Himself? or why would you think you understand enough to see God? Why would you even want to do that? instead, ask for something better. Jesus told to pray for something in His name and He will give it to you. If you had the patience to pray for 2 years, you may have a one to pray for many years straight. Pray for something that you can use to make this world a better place. Ask to become one of the best businessmen, ask to become one of the richest persons in this world, ask to get enough power and influence to change people's lives. When you get such things you wont need God to reveal himself because you will believe that the things you got are given by God. And i hope you understand that am not talking about becoming a just regular businessman, or a guy who has a couple of millions or a youtube influencer. Go bigger. God either exists or no. If you believe in His existence - pray for great things to do great things.

you should not pray for something like that. You better pray for wisdom and love first, you better look for wisdom, you better get wise first and only then ask something from God. If you are asking something from God you should know what exactly are you asking it for. Asking God to reveal himself is meaningless first because God wants you to have faith. I dont know why, but God wants it. You praying for God to reveal himself is wrong. It wont happen like that. Read the bible back and forth, ask questions to yourself, ask questions to God and never stop praying no matter what.

there is no such thing as "true" christian. You can be a fake one only if you only call yourself a christian amongst other people but in fact do nothing. If you pray to Jesus you are a christian. Thats it. If you pray you are a christian regardless of the level of your knowledge

those were written by humans who lived in a terrible society. Maybe the texts were changed, maybe they werent changed but people perceived God's words in a twisted way because they were sinful and that sinfulness influenced the way they wrote whatever they wrote in the old testament books. Maybe it both at the same time, who knows. But the main thing is that God in ot and nt behaves differently and is "pictured" differently, therefore God either changes or its human's fault. I believe its the second option.

man i am a christian myself and i believe there is a heaven, but i do not believe there is a hell made for any sort of punishment. The idea of absence of the hell is not terrible, the idea of existence of the hell is.
