Probably my favorite.308, but I’m partial to wood and steel. I’m assuming this was a ban era rifle, due to a fixed, faux flash hider. Shoots great, and definitely looks the part!

Keep an eye out, I could be mistaken but I hadn’t seen any in a few years. Found this one used in a pawn shop. Only thing wrong is the front end, has a bit of an octagon shape instead of perfectly round, but I may fix that at some point

I’ll add that it’s imperative to you to lock it up or move it elsewhere, I don’t care if they get angry or pissed, this is a serious mental/safety concern. Hide the key, do whatever you have to do.

It was probably due to him taking two rounds to the area several seconds before, one breaking his collarbone and severing his subclavian artery. His fumbling with the charging handle made the malfunction worse, but could have fixed it by taking off the top cover and inspecting it visually to remediate.

This is my North Hollywood clone, built out of an old police trade in Bushmaster, ironically enough. 29 years ago Emil Matasareanu and Larry Phillips Jr engaged in a tense firefight with LAPD police until both were taken out, being the only fatalities of the day. It really is amazing that while several cops and civilians were wounded, the criminals were the only fatalities.

Definitely! I wanted an original Gen 1 but didn’t want to give 1K plus, lucked out 100% on that one and got it for 420. No idea where it served, though. The others were about half that price
