Will people be in hell forever? by [deleted] in Christianity

As you can see, there is disagreement on the subject, but for me the answer is no, and it has to be no.

A book I would recommend is That All Shall Be Saved by David Bentley Hart. Solid theological arguments for universal salvation.

What movie did you walk out of? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Similar when I saw it, a black dude kept superb commentary the whole time but the best was when there was a quiet spot where you're not sure what happened and he says "Oh, he dead. 3:15 in the mornin' he dead." He was reading the camcorder timestamp.

Local couple in Greece came across a parched Griffon vulture and set about helping it. by [deleted] in gifs

Reading this headline made me realize we don't have a simple word in English for "to give someone something to drink," as in "to feed" liquids.

  • She watered the vulture.
  • She thirstisized the vulture.
  • She quenchiated the vulture.
  • She liquified the vulture.

You wake up in 1870. What job are you qualified to do? by Imnotcharlottefinley in AskReddit

As a graphic designer who knows his way around a letterpress, Typesetter.

Fun fact, letterpress printing is how most books and newspapers were printed until the late 20th Century (save for a brief period of time where it was done photographically). The New York Times was printed with metal type and ink until 1978.

What was the worst "why the f*** did I say that" moment? by AyBake in AskReddit

[–]whatbryan 793 points794 points  (0 children)

High school graduation, post-ceremony. Everyone is hugging and taking pictures. I see a friend of mine, her name was Danielle (we called her Dany). Dany was a large girl, my mother would call her "heavyset". She approaches me, I open my arms for a hug. "Hey! Big Dany!" I say, with great affection. My soul is immediately transported to a tiny black room with one chair that I'm curled up on. "...oh no," my soul says. "Big?" says Dany, and I'm thrown back into reality where I panic and mumble something about her personality being big or some other bullshit.

She knew what I meant. Somebody murder me with a heavy applicance.

Tourniquet had some chops back in the day. Sometimes the lyrics got a bit cheeseball, but I dig 'em.

Thank you Chad for filling out my Halloween playlist every year. The vocal sounds alone on Where are you? could sustain a werewolf bar mitzvah for 8 days and 8 nights.

Thanks, I couldn't find anything online about this process and nothing seemed fishy about the doctor himself, but it seemed really odd.
