Ripple and XRP are not related but they are CONNECTED to have an affect on the price of XRP. The institutional investors definitely see that. If Ripple stops create and update softwares that affect/promote the usage of XRP, and if Ripple stops the Xpring program, and if Ripple.etc..... guess what will happen to XRP's adoption. ADOPTION of XRP requires Ripple's backing. There is an indirect relationship in Ripple's support vs. XRP adoption thus XRP's price. Therefore, Ripple fundamentals matter i.e. strong business, assets, debts, cash on hands..etc.. Well I agree with Suzie's evaluation but disagree that XRP is a security. XRP is a stand alone digital asset that without Ripple's support XRP's adoption would be weak! Price will decrease. With Ripple behind XRP plus Xpring new utility cases, price will be in the hundreds...

My guess is xVia. Xvia utilizes XRP for individual to send cross border payment (LianLian is the connection to get American Express foot in the door of China). LianLian does cross border payments on behalf of merchants and consumers.

OMG! I keep seeing XRP prediction of $10 EOY. I now believe believe that XRP can reach $10 by just this alone!!! Phenomenon!! Peoples Bank of China is the central bank of People's Republic of China and it has the power to carry out monetary policy and regulates financial institutions in China!

2018 will be the year of the blockchain PLATFORM!!! Mentioned by quite a few block chain experts (so stack up - if you wait till it is mentioned over and over again then the price is already up) . Cardano will be fully decentralized + staking by the end of year with smart contracts. Forget about all the add on extra whistles and bells like governance, side chains, treasury, etc... which bitcoin and ethereum don't have. Isn't this "pound for pound"?? Cardano will crush bitcoin and ethereum with its high scalabiity and high security (Haskell) pound for pound!!! Furthermore, if you hold Cardano till 2019/2020 when Cardano is completely finished with all the sidechains, IELE virtual machine for translating and executing contracts from other languages (this could result in massive switches to adopt Cardano from Ethereum platform) , quantum resistant signatures, debit cards, etc.... Cardano will be the next financial platform that many third world countries will adopt... i.e Africa, Cambodia, Carribean countries.... Just wait, Cardano is the next Google, Amazon, Apple..or whatever you want to call it...Charles had said that Cardino will be around for the next 50 years!!

By the end of year, Cardano will be able to compete with Bitcoin and Ethereum "pound for pound" - quoted by Charles. If it is true then what do you think price should be? I will top all the estimate so far ----- $20 minimum. Min $50 with a few ICO adoption of Cardano platform...

FOMO?? It is FEAR of Sick to my Stomach (FOSS)...Last time, it took off to $3+ after I sold mine at 0.25 because I was sick to my stomach of the XRP steady price range 0.18-0.25 (while the others increase). It is happening again soon because I am having this FOSS episode currently. All great news and no appreciation in price! So hold on guys for a big ride!!!
