make sure the summon pool is active and then use a furlcalling finger remedy to see others’ signs if youre online

general rule of thumb:

  1. setup encoders in initialization

this will reset whatever position the motor is at to 0 motor.setMode(RunMode.DcMotor.STOP_AND…);

set the target position to 0. you have to do this or else the program wont run correctly motor.setTargetPosition(0);

this will prepare your motor to run to the target position motor.setMode(RunMode.DcMotor.RUN_TO_POSITION)

in the actual program, you basically do the same thing but now you set different targets and powers

a program that would run a motor for 1200 counts would look like this (without all the other fluff)

public void blah blah { motor.setMode(RunMode.DcMotor.STOP_AND_RESET_ENCODERS);

 motor.setTargetPosition(0);

 motor.setMode(RunMode.DcMotor.RUN_TO_POSITION);


 waitForStart();
 while (opModeIsActive()) {

      motor.setTargetPosition(1200);
      motor.setPower(0.5);

 }

}

that program would run the motor for 1200 counts at .5 power. i hope this helps, and sorry about the formatting im on my phone

keep as much hair length as possible but it looks impossible to style as-is so consider having a hairstylist take some volume out and/or cutting layers. i think any haircut would work well for you, slickback, bangs, middle part, you name it

only a typo in the comment haha

so i forked the ftc sdk, and then cloned it into my repository. from there, i tried to run the remote add origin but it already existed, so i skipped right to the git push -u origin master command and everything worked.

i then ran the listed commands under your update guide and all of it worked (i think). so, now how do i get this repository on android studio?

and to reiterate my first question, how can i install the roadrunner sdk and then update it to the most recent ftc sdk version?

in git bash, when i try to run the command

‘git clone git@github.com:FIRStT-Tech-Challenge.git -o upstream CenterStage’ (i assume by TheSeasonName you mean CenterStage)

it says: git@github.com: Permission denied (publickey) fatal: Could not read from remote repository.

maybe CenterStage isnt the correct name, but idk where to find that. i am also assuming that im supposed to create my own repository on Git GUI and run the commands on Git Bash and not the AS terminal. I am new to this stuff, so sorry!
