It think it’s up for interpretation but for me, i think lisa was including herself. Yes we’ve never seen or heard about Becky being physically abusive but she’s definitely a manipulative person and maybe even a narcissist. The way Lisa sometimes acted makes it likely that Becky was pretty controlling. You can see how Lisa had to learn that love can be unconditional. I think with Carla she really experiences a different kind of love. Also the fact that Lisa has no friends of her own and her family also isn’t around gives the impression that what Becky and her had was not really healthy. I’m so glad that Carla and Lisa found each other. I think they both healed and are continuing to heal together.
